Yeah it has been getting very mixed reviews, but I am still curious about it. I decided to get the promo and just try it for myself.

Ooooo I hope it works out for you @mmmiu! My sample came in today so I will be testing it out this weekend (it looks a little too dark unfortunately but I want to get a feel for the formula).

Anyone had issues with the HOURGLASS - Immaculate® Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Freeoxidizing? I have a sample of it I tried this morning and it turned orange on one part of my face😯. I’ve never had that happen before. It did have a strong chemical scent when I opened it, but that may be normal for it I don’t know. Used my normal A.M. routine skincare, sample has been stored in a temp-controlled environment and not exposed to extreme temps. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

@eshoe   I think the scent is normal.  I used to use that all the time, years ago, and I don't remember it oxidizing but then again, I always used it with the Veil Primer.

@eshoe   Oh no!  I remember it smelling like sunscreen.  I didn't like that.

@eshoe  -- I personally have not used Hourglass' foundation before as I have yet to find one that will color match.  I've used quite a few of their other products and never noticed a scent other than maybe a slight scent of the ingredients.  I've swatched the foundations and since fragrance is a huge issue for me I steer clear if I found it bothersome.  That hasn't been the case in swatching Hourglass foundations just the color match.  Since it turned orange and has a chemical smell I would guess that the product went bad.  I'd return it to get a new box and hopefully that will resolve the issue.

@Kim888 Noooo.... As soon as I saw your tag the product was off Sephora's site -- I'm assuming it is "sold out."  I'm still on Hourglass' wait list.  I'm not a fan of the selling limited quanities each day, indicating it is sold out, when in reality it isn't since it goes back up for sale the next day (at least that is what I'm seeing on Hourglass' site).  Fingers crossed I'll be able to snag it eventually! 🙂

Thanks @Kim888! I had signed up for the waitlist, so I got an email when it became available. I can't believe it's sold out already, good thing I bought it the second I saw the email. I know it's just blush, but it's just too risky to wait for it to come to Sephora, lol.
