I like the color but that is really disappointing @Mochapj I wonder if you would see more green with a dark base, not that you should need a base.  Thanks for posting!

i tried swatching it on my husband who is decidedly less olive toned than I am and it still wasn’t very green but hopefully black will bring it out.

I just received a letter today.  Hourglass cosmetics had a data breach.  If you made a purchase online from July 3, 2018 to January 30, 2019, you are at risk.  Even though they don't store personal information, the types of data at risk are everything you would use to make a purchase, unfortunately.

My Vanish foundation in Cream and Alabaster arrived today, along with samples of Veil Primer and Immaculate foundation in Nude and Beige.

As far as the shades go, both are very light.  Alabaster is definitely yellow, even though it's made for people with cool undertones.  Cream is very pale, almost pink. Please forgive the unprofessional swatching.  It was done in natural light.  The top shade is probably Cream.  I decided to swatch together for a better comparison.  Although they do appear close in shade, they do look differently once applied.  

I'm not sure what to think.  After waiting for things to settle down after application, there is a faint glow which is really pretty.  I don't know if it's the foundation or the primer.  

My cheeks are in pretty rough shape because I used an exfoliator that was too rough for me; I have bumps on them even though I used my heavy-duty night cream.  

The foundation didn't emphasize the bumps.  They helped cover them a little, but not a whole lot.

The foundation transfers badly.

My sample of the Veil Primer was the consistency of whipped cream.  It glided on so easily.  I don't like primers but I can see myself using that one.

Are you liking it @Ispend2much6 ? Have you tried Ilia’s new serum foundation? I really like it though I like a very light tinted moisturizer vs full on; I like my skin to show through. Prob in minority on that one! 🤣It is buildable though and so nice bec it’s also treatment. Just an idea ☺️.

@Sunnysmom   No, I haven't tried the Ilia.  I have plenty of foundations, etc, I just couldn't resist trying the Hourglass. 🙂

I was ready to pull the trigger and order the new Hourglass Vanish liquid foundation, but noticed the reviews went from 4/5 to 3/5 this morning...looks like most people got their orders in the past couple days hehe. The reviews seem very mixed and now I'm on the fence because of how matte or drying it could potentially look. I've tried the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Long Wear and Cover FX Power Play foundation and did not like it at all... I looked very oily in my t-zone (weird because they're both supposed to be soft matte) and it looked cakey around where my smile lines would be...

Anyone else try the Hourglass liquid foundation? 

How do you like it compared to the stick? I'm in the market for a new foundation and I think I'm starting to lean on getting the stick foundation for spot covering.

@mmmiu  I’ve been curious to try this foundation too! I love Hourglass so this is definitely something I want to buy once I run out of foundation.
