Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I already have the Filmstar bronze & glow palette but looking into some of her other products.

Does anyone have any experiences they would like to share esp with her Light Wonder Foundation, her blush and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder? I'm interested in getting these three things but still on the fence about taking the plunge!

Please let me know, many BTers opinions have helped me out on products before 😄 Thanks in advance!

Glastonbury and Bond Girl

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I finally had time to try on Walk of Shame and Bond Girl.  Swatched, they're hard to tell apart.  On, they're quite different.  Walk of Shame (that name!) is much more pink on, a more vibrant look.  Bond girl is a great soft but still deep warm dusty rose.  And I've always loved walk of shame color wise but felt the formula was a little...splotchy.

Bond girl left, Walk of Shame right.  I kid you not....and they do look different on.

Bond Girl looks.... incredible.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

It's really lovely....Dusty rich rose on...

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Glastonbury looks gorgeous! I don't own any Charlotte Tilbury, but this tells me that I should :x.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

It's pretty...

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I kinda want Bond Girl just for the name... but I feel like I may have dupes for it. Do you have any lipsticks similar to it, meganlisa?

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I was just chatting with GC offline and Walk of Shame (CT) is so close!  Slightly different undertone.

And I have an old KVD Lolita...and there have been many versions of that shade....but it's similar to the one I have.  Very.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Glastonbury looks gorgeous!  I ought to test it at Nordies - I should have today...doh!  I am afraid it might not be opaque/patchy.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

It really isn't.  I do need to dry my lips and apply carefully...but so far...and I just got it a few hours ago....not patchy.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

i actually was just contemplating both of these -- but in particular glastonberry. thoughts ???

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Glastonberry is growing on me.  Not exactly matte (unless I'm seeing things wrong).  It has a slightly metallic sheen on.  I need to apply it carefully and fully dry my lips first but then it applies pretty evenly.  Really stunning shade.  With your coloring I can totally see it being stunning.  Unusual.  Purple/plum with a slight metallic sheen (very subtle).

Bond girl is pretty too and would work on you.  More of a staple.  The kind of shade I throw in my bag and can always use in a pinch.

If you get one...Glastonberry...

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I just got my first CT products ever!  CT + Norman Parkinson compacts!  I love them so far.  Somehow I missed the fact that these compacts are not metal, but I have been more than impressed with the products themselves so far, so I'm not disappointed that I bought them.  Still debating the cheek tint, but trying to be somewhat reasonable!  Anyway just thought I'd share.  🙂

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Incidentally, does anyone have any of the beach sticks?  I'm curious about Ibiza and Moon Beach.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I have the Moon Beach, Beach Stick & I love it! It's a lovely color with a hint of shimmer. I usually blend it on my cheeks with my fingertips. I also love how it smells. It's one of my favorite new items! I'm trying to upload a pic of a swatch for you but I'm having trouble.... 😞

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Thanks for the info.  I'm normally not a fan of these stick blush/highlighter things.  I absolutely hate the Nars Multiple.  But these look so pretty and I think I can make it work.  No worries on the picture.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Here they are (daylight photos).

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

One question though: can you get enough product off the stick with fingers?  The reason I hated the Nars Multiple is that to apply it the best method I found was to rub it directly onto the face which would cause the stick to pick up makeup from my skin.  So it would get so dirty.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I know what you mean. The reason I like to use my fingers with the Beach Stick is because my makeup would transfer to the stick. It only seems to do it if I have powder on my face though. I can apply it directly on top of my liquid foundation & not have a problem with it transferring to the stick. Then I usually blend it out with my fingers. It does have a nice texture (as skintester stated) that's easy to work with.

Re: Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

Thanks for the input TJBPINK, I probably will pick one up when I can get some kind of % off and try it.  I just hate when a product gets messy from the makeup already on my face.
