Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

If you are a fan obsessed or just a beauty lover curious about Diptyque, come on over! I thought this would be a fun place to share your thoughts, collections, decorating ideas, questions about the fabulous world of Diptyque.

I started out with one candle, the Beverly Hills candle-which is so fabulous-I'll post a picture of it tomorrow-thinking I was crazy to buy a $70 candle. Yes, it's crazy-crazy good! I've since collected 2 or 3 more and purchased a perfume. This week I got my first body care item, the satin body oil. I really love everything from Diptyque.

So let's discuss 🙂 One question I have is how do you get the inside cleaned out so you can use the jars for pretty collections like I see a lot of on social media?

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

I like those ideas. I have this antique silver tiny dish that was a cigarette holder than belonged to my grandmother. I keep perfume sample vials in it.

Shot glass? Just kidding..I was just looking at mine. I suppose you could put another mini candle in it if another store made a candle that size..M & M's or wait, it would be cute to put Valentine heart candies in there..

Haha you know I thought of that too but we don't drink.  I just don't want to toss them out.  Have to think of something.

mini plants? Some like being root bound. Just would need someone handy to drill a drain hole.

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

I was thinking of a baby cactus. Do you think those would work?

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

I'm handy.  I could drill the hole myself.  Maybe I'll try with one.

Should be fine if you go slow and prob should submerge the jar a tub of water while drilling.

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

That's a good point.

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

I love their perfume "34".

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

That one is so Parisian..makes me feel like I should be there!

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

All your comments make me want to try these candles, and I will!! Someone said you had to trim the wick.  I've never done that.  And some jars have inf act gotten the black shadow.  Thanks for that info! and thank you AnnMCC for starting this conversation.

You're welcome!

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

If you have burned through a candle, would you share how you are using the jar? I think I'll start with makeup brushes or mascaras..or maybe pens. Photos welcome!

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

I just finished my first candle today. I can't recall which one it was, it smelled like Christmas trees.

I put some lippies in it and also pictured is my Beverly Hills candle.

That Beverly Hills candle looks so pretty. I wish i could find one 🙂

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

The BH candle was only in BH Diptyque store..it was from last summer so they probably don't have it any more. But I bet there will be a fun summer LE in a few months...

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)

I read the BH candle is returning!  I want one!  Do you have a SA to recommend at the BH Diptyque?  Thank you.

Re: Discussion for the Diptyque Crowd (please join!)
