What brunette shade would best compliment me?

I have natural medium brown hair. My skin tone is fair (ivory) with neutral undertones. I have blue-green eyes. What shade of brown should I color it? Any bit of advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

My natural color is a medium cooler brown, hazel eyes and light olive skin (which is neutral, leaning towards cool) and I love doing a chocolate brown on my hair. It's a great neutral dark brown and would probably look great with blue/ green eyes.  If you wanted a lighter brown, I'd just go with something neutral/ cool with no red tones. I usually use the Garnier nutrisse in dark chocolate. If you want to go even darker than the chocolate color,  look for something with the word "espresso" in it. The chocolate usually looks more natural on me personally but it depends on your skintone/eye color depth and what look you are going for. Sometimes with the darker brown box dyes,  the color can come out a tad darker than it looks like on the box,  so keep that mind when choosing which color to use. It's much easier to go darker the next time you dye your hair than try to get dark color out of your hair if you don't like it.
