Safe to use Olaplex No. 3 After Kerasilk Treatment?

Does anyone know if it's advisable to use the Olaplex No. 3 treatment at home after a keratin treatment? I've had two different stylists offer conflicting advice - one says Olaplex is great for weekly maintenance, and the other says it could potentially interfere with the effectiveness of the Keratin treatment.  Any advice?  Thanks so much!

Hi 🙂 I'm Tanya an educator with the Olaplex company and I can easily answer your question for you. When you get a keratin treatment you will want to wait at least 3-4 weeks before using No3 ,as the keratin treatment lays a coating on the hair that Olaplex can't penetrate properly through thus it can not fully repair the bonds of the hair. So by waiting it gives the hair some time for the keratain layer to loosen and allow Olaplex to work.

@TanyaOlaplex Does this also apply to using Olaplex after a Kerasilk (not Keratin) treatment? I get Kerasilk done about 3 times a year and I’m wondering how long before I can use 0, 3, and 8 again. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
