Products/advice for red hair?

So I recently did a red ombre on my hair and its been about 5 days and some of it is starting to fade already to a dull red/pinkish color 😞 lol what are some good products to keep the red vibrant and keep it from fading? (I wash my hair every other day to every 2 days & use a deep conditioner once a week)

Youll wanna find a shampoo and conditioner that will not only be sulfate and paraben free but can deposit red pigment into your hair. This really helps the color last. Also invest in a good dry shampoo, if you cut the amount of washing you do the longer your hair color will last. Not saying you should go weeks with out washing, but try for two/ three times a week. More if you workout.

Look for a good sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, as they are less likely to strip your hair. Use leave in conditioners, and avoid chlorine water, like swimming pools. Also try to avoid long sun exposure to you hair, which can really fade red hair. You can also try a glossing treatment in between coloring. I believe there are also some red depositing shampoos and conditioners out there, which would probably help a lot. I would call around your local salons to see if they have these in your area. Keep with the deep conditioning treatments. Wash and rinse your hair with cool water to seal your cuticles, and help prevent fading. Red hair is very high maintenance, I wish you the best of luck!
