How can I wear my natural waves with out looking like an idiot?

Hi there. I have very thick, wavy (2b), short hair and I straighten it often. Although sometimes I want to wear it with waves (sort of like Jeon Jungkook of BTS) but I almost always look like an idiot if I do not style it. Tl;dr are there any ways or products that I could use to style my waves and actually look good? (Sorry if this wasn’t a very great question I was tired when I wrote this so the grammar might be off)

You'll probably want some sort of product in your hair to help style it. A mousse might be a good option, but look into some other options like gel or curl defining cream to try out for more definition as well. You could also consider a salt or texture spray. Look up Brad Mondo on Youtube and you'll be able to find some great styling suggestions that don't take long. Unfortunately there's a lot of trial and error for styling naturally curly and wavy hair. Everyone's hair responds differently and everyone is looking for something very unique.
