Hair damage?

I have thick wavy frizzy hair and have really bad damage I want to grow my hair back out any recommendations?!?!

@KileyRhys Growing out layers is such a pain.  It seems like it takes forever. All you can do is keep it healthy while it grows, and try to resist getting it cut off again.
