Bondi Boost Blowout Brush 2” - MIA

Hi. Does anyone know what happened to the Bondi Boost Blowout Brush 2” (the smaller out)? PR boxes went out in August - Sephora listed the product as “Coming Soon” and unavailable to purchase, as reviews were slowly trickling in. However come last week, product was pulled off Sephora website - no where to be seen. I reached out to customer service and was told that the product was discontinued ? Before it’s release date ? A little confusing ! Does anyone have more information to explain its disappearance? Thank you
