Positive Vibe/ prayer request thread

Hi All,

Don't want this to be whining or venting thread but this is pretty much the only community I am active in and really really like it so thought of posting here. 

This is for everyone to post if you like/need.

Some of you may know that I have been though toughest time of my life for last one year and every aspect of my life is hit. Looks like the ordeal is not over and now it's onto my career and in turn mental wellbeing . Without going into too much detail, my health was compromised to the point that it was life threatening, my personal life crisis beyond belief that I never thought would happen to me and crushed me. Now my career is taking a hit for various reasons plus my health/ some physical limitation causing me further stress, anxiety, having hard time concentrating.

I am doing everything I can. Fighting this very hard, trying to stay positive. I have started working out regularly because I think that will help physical as well as mental wellbeing and doing everything I can but I feel I am at a point where it's getting tiring I can use some positive thought and your prayers. 

Also, if you are someone like me where sometime I am at a loss of words and not sure what to communicate to the person but I still pray for them, that is ok too, no need to feel pressured to post anything.

Feel free to post your own requests in this thread. Again, not a pity party and definitely do everything in your control to power though but sometimes positive vibes and prayers are just the things we all could use.

Sounds like an amazing opportunity @sprocketta! Best of luck! Hopefully the two former bosses have the most input about who gets hired for the position. Unfortunately I work in a position where everything is based upon seniority not who is best qualified for the position.

ohhhh @sprocketta 🙌 that sounds amazing!! my uncle lived in NC and it is very nice!! if I had the opportunity, I'd be right there with you!! I live about 3 hours south of you,, we also had 4 inches of snow 😝 so so so much positive and good karma coming your way lovely!!!

Thanks @lmaster Sorry to hear you got some of this snow!  I dug out my heavy winter coat, boots and hat today.  Can you believe it?!

Incidentally, isn't the number one reason people leave jobs management/team issues and NOT salary? Never underestimate the power of a positive work environment 🙂

@MissPuff Thanks for the support.  I started a new job 6 months ago and I'm pretty miserable due to a very difficult boss.  The thought of going back to work with a good team is huge for me.

@sprocketta  How exciting! I’m wishing you the best of luck! Sounds like this would be a great career move for you, especially since you know the team and have enjoyed working with them before. 

My father’s from NC and I still have lots of family there. There are pros and cons of living there, just like with any other location of course. As long as the pros outweigh the cons, this would be a great residential move for you. Plus, you could probably write off this out-of-state move on your 2019 fed taxes. 🙂 I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!
