Positive Vibe/ prayer request thread

Hi All,

Don't want this to be whining or venting thread but this is pretty much the only community I am active in and really really like it so thought of posting here. 

This is for everyone to post if you like/need.

Some of you may know that I have been though toughest time of my life for last one year and every aspect of my life is hit. Looks like the ordeal is not over and now it's onto my career and in turn mental wellbeing . Without going into too much detail, my health was compromised to the point that it was life threatening, my personal life crisis beyond belief that I never thought would happen to me and crushed me. Now my career is taking a hit for various reasons plus my health/ some physical limitation causing me further stress, anxiety, having hard time concentrating.

I am doing everything I can. Fighting this very hard, trying to stay positive. I have started working out regularly because I think that will help physical as well as mental wellbeing and doing everything I can but I feel I am at a point where it's getting tiring I can use some positive thought and your prayers. 

Also, if you are someone like me where sometime I am at a loss of words and not sure what to communicate to the person but I still pray for them, that is ok too, no need to feel pressured to post anything.

Feel free to post your own requests in this thread. Again, not a pity party and definitely do everything in your control to power though but sometimes positive vibes and prayers are just the things we all could use.

@sprocketta Good luck on the interview!! I saw that it was in the Winston Salem area and I'm about an hour from there. Great area within reach of beaches, has great shopping, not like Chicago, but adequate! Weather is moderate, with little snow in winter, but NC is not equipped for snow removal, so this will be different than what you're use to. I live in the mountains and a foot of snow is nothing, where 2 inches in NC is like "Oh no!!" I really think you'll love the area!! Again, good luck!! I'm sure you'll nail it!!😊

I've spent time in Charlotte and the coast and i have friends who live in Asheville and Raleigh (not sure exactly where you'll be). Charlotte is amazing and is such a good vibe city that isn't too big. The weather is great, you get all the seasons! Plus you're close to the beach if you're interested in that. Compared to Chicago it is much, much, cheaper. @sprocketta

@scott1201 this is in the Winston-Salem area. I see it does get cold in the winter, but not like Chicago and one of the people interviewing me said it snows like one a year and the snow is gone in 24 hours. I have been researching the cost of living and the difference is crazy! I would have a much nicer apartment there for a lot less money. My sister's best friend is in Raleigh and loves it there. I'm really excited and hope I get it.

Thanks @Loretta55 But don't congratulate me yet.  I haven't gotten a job offer yet!  The other candidate is internal, and I came really close to a job earlier this year but lost it to an internal candidate.  Often they get preference.  In any event, thanks for the support!

@Loretta55 Okay.  Thankfully the two people making the decision were my bosses for a couple years at my last job.  They were just really impressed with my work there and told me when they were discussing how to fill this position, they thought of me immediately.  I won't be given an unfair preference, but thankfully I've already proven myself to them.  I'll be on the lookout for that pm.
