How do you feel about the pigment in in 5-pans?  They are always super pretty, but very subtle.  If you don't have anything like it

I have some of the 5 Colours already...the craziest I've gotten outside neutrals was with the last round of limited editions picking up DIOR Diorshow 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette in Brown Brocart as I fell for the apricot shade. I was worried it would be far too intense but the sheerness makes it dreamy. Compared to the neutrals I have it does make me think intense shades might be where the 5 Couleurs really shine. Like if I was a girl who went in for blue and going on color story alone with the warm peaches and gold shimmer I think that "Summer Azure" could be a great summer palette.

I think "Summer Bronze" (which was not in the picture) has a lot going for it too considering the sheer factor:

The whole collection has so much gold shimmer to it. They're calling it Diorivera and saying it is Riviera inspired and I do think they nailed that in a sort of retro way I admire from afar that almost makes the compacts make sense? I mean, I do appreciate truly going for it and they did that so I can't hate it too much.

I think you should add the blue, @PDXXXX .  Brown Bocart looks great, too, but I have such a bias for blue and that one is pretty.

An early assessement, but I'm a fan of the micro concealer @danielledanielle

While the shade range needs to be flushed out more (but it seems that is the intent (?) given there are gaps in numbering and jumps in the shade, I really enjoy a few things about it:

• creamy
• easy to apply
• easy to blend with fingers or the brush on the other end of the stick, though I found (to my great surprise) that for some of my dark spots, I didn't even need to blend it; just tapping the product from the pen onto the spot (usually just one spot), it covered the spot and blended in nicely as is with my foundation 😲
• good for pinpoint concealing pimples or dark or sun spots
• has worked well with my dark spots, sun spots. I do set it with powder. It's probably best suited for smaller to medium spots. If there's a larger area to cover, it might be more practical and economical to use a traditional concealer.

@itsfi  The patches look super adorable. But I don’t know about the lip treatment scent/flavour. What are your thoughts?

My initial thought @ather was "bananas foster (or bananas flambé) without the calories" 😂 and without the rum or alcohol for that matter. It sounds like it could be a fruitier, boozier spin on her salted caramel lip treatment, which could make it on the sweet side, and maybe strong too. I'm not sure though. I suspect that the collab is meant, in part, to attract or increase a male-identifying customer base so in that regard I'm not sure how strong the cent would be thought that is a generalization because most of the people I close with, men and women, do not prefer strong scented (lip) products, at least not the ones I've asked.

@itsfi  Same. I like a hint of scent/flavour not to strong. I guess my mind was going to banana medicine. And I think I still have some aversions to banana scents.
