New spring treats from Rhode, coming 3.9 at 9am Pacific Time

• 2 new blush shades - tea cup and candy apple
• 2 new lip tints - sweet pea and pretzel (limited edition)
• a lip case (limited edition)
• a snap on lip case (limited edition)

More details, including information on bundles/sets available with the new spring offerings and notification sign up, available at Rhode direct.

No info available at the current time whether these items are exclusive to the Rhode site or whether some or all will be available at Sephora. Seems as though the lip cases will be exclusive to Rhode direct. The lip tints may also be exclusive to Rhode as I don't recall (though I could be mistaken) that the previous limited edition scented lip tints were available at Sephora. @ather

@itsfi  Wow. Rhode is just releasing everything right now!!!!! Those colours look amazing. 

Hmmm I don’t recall seeing the LE scented tinted balms at Sephora. But that may have just been the Sephora Canada site. 

I haven’t seen any of the cases also on Sephora I bet that’s a direct site thing!

@ather, yeah, I think the phone products will be exclusive to the site. Will be interested to see whether the limited edition lip tints will be.

I had missed this whole concept though I was following LL, just have been mostly off IG lately, but I guess the first release was a flop and they ended up going radio silent, then finally posting an apology/clarification and offered full refunds.

Some people defended them but most were saying they should charge way less for small size, unvetted products. They’re saying the point is to release products at earlier stages to see if they should be further developed (for people who want to be involved in the beauty product development process). Not sure how it’s going to go from here but not great when you have to do apologies and walk back your initial launch. @Sunnysmom @danielledanielle

@sister13 it sounds like it turned out to be quite the mess eh?! 🥹 Bummer. The concept sounded so interesting so maybe they’ll keep evolving and improving. I hope so. Curious to see how the next product turns out! I have a hunch it’s lips but maybe not. Depending I may try that one.  Kind of reminds me of the similar but much safer thing that Rituel de Fille has done. But they offer new products sometimes at lower prices to test the waters and then tweak it it seems like. I tried their tinted foundation which I did not love and their lips which I do love. lol

Ooh, yeah I've been following this @Sunnysmom , LL bringing products that never came to fruition... It's interesting, but I'm also wondering how prototype to production is going to work 🤔

Summer Fridays coming out with a new scent mid-March, 3.17

Do I need another perfume? No. Will I pick this up? Probably I’ll atleast test it out Almost certainly! 😉
