@itsfi  I’m still surprised Sephora doesn’t carry the candles—not even the base (permanent) ones. Recent store visits make me think Sephora’s backing off from candles in general, and that’s a shame.

@WinglessOne, I’d be bummed if Sephora was phasing out candles but I can see that, at least in store. Though in one of my stores, there is a whole end cap devoted to them. I initially thought Sephora was looking to stock refillable candles as brands such as Voluspa seemed to be moving in that direction. And, perhaps in the wishful thinking category, I thought Sephora might just be waiting for the exclusivity period with Harlem Perfume Co. and another retailer to run its course. 🤞🏼

@itsfi  Besides Voluspa and Diptyque, I haven’t seen many brands going the refill route. Not yet anyway. It’d be good for more brands to offer refills though. 

Heh, I forgot Nordstrom still has some Harlem Brands items. There aren’t many left there nowadays, so maybe we’ll see the candles at Sephora next year.

@WinglessOne, brands are slowly moving towards making their candles available in refillable formats, or, at least some are making efforts into looking into it. I've seen or have refills from Bond No. 9, Guerlain, Illume, and Trudon, in addition to the houses you've mentioned.

@itsfi Wait is this not at Sephora US?  I know we've had it in Canada for a bit.  It's been quite popular among the local tween set here.  Using my little tween as a gauge... her and her friends love everything they've tried.

I first heard of the brand a couple of years ago when I was researching kids’ sunscreen but it wasn’t available or not readily so in the US. The brand came up again when you mentioned it at one of the events earlier this year or maybe it was last year. I didn’t realize they had that Bakuchiol / vitamin C oil though. 

hmmmm, I may need to use your tween as a sounding board @missjeanie. Has she tried any of the fragrances / body mists? Wondering if the scents are true to their descriptions and if their strength is more akin to Bath & Body Works or something softer like the Beekman 1802 mist? Regardless, it bodes well that she & her friends like what they’ve used so far! That’s always good to hear.

@itsfi It's been a minute since I've asked which body spray they're using.... but I know Emily (the younger) is quite into all of them.  I know I've seen the lip oils, moisturizers, cleansers and body spray's in the stash... and maybe a face mist as well.  I know there were shampoo and conditioners that I don't think Emily has used yet.  I'll have to place a facetime tonight to do a bit of a deeper dive! (Thanks for the excuse!)

@missjeanie , yup. I only know this because I'm nosy curious and switched the app to Canada once and subsequently, saw nothing but Canadian prices for almost two weeks.

@CookieGirl1 I really like this!  I have a few of his original full size powder blushes but the reality is I'll NEVER finish those.  A mini is something I can get into!

💯 @missjeanie! Love the color of the bags too. And I’m gonna go pull out the similar hued ones I already have because I know I don’t need all those lip balms. Well, not for myself at least. I’m sure I can come up with several DIY gift bundles for them though.

This looks amazing, @itsfi! I’m considering the OLEHENRIKSEN Pout Preserve Vault because I know I won’t finish 12 of the Summer Fridays, but I also don’t know that I’d finish 5 of the OLEHENRIKSEN, either.

@curlychiquita, the OH lip balm set is a fantastic one as well. The OH balms are nice - formula wise and the shade selection. I feel like, with anything you have in multiples, if you limit the number you have open at any one time and focus on using what you do have open first on a consistent basis, they'll get used up at a faster rate. At least that's the case for me, in my experience. It's when I have so many, too many, open at once that it can become even more daunting to use up any 1 product. Especially if I'm buying other similar things along the way. 

With the larger holiday sets, if I'm not for certain I'll use everything up in a timely manner and I want to get one, my plan is to break them up and give some of the items as gifts - individually, or as part of a gift set I put together, or as stocking stuffers.
