Are there any products that you're "afraid" of trying?

Some products are really fun and easy to try, but some can make us a little nervous.   Maybe you're afraid of retinol.  Or, concerned about changing up your routine.  Perhaps you're leery of a new brand.  Let us know here!

I used to be afraid of coconut oil, until I saw influencer Abbey Yung use a ton of it (a silicone based one) on her fine-stranded hair.  I gave it a try, and have been loving it!  It got me back into using other hair oils, and my hair looks more supple.

I was also afraid not to put a little shampoo on my lengths (even though I know experts say you shouldn't) but because I use a lot of styling products i disregard that.  Well, I finally tried the recommended method and my hair is looking less distressed.
