@makeitup305, I don’t recall off the top of my head the scents you gravitate towards but The Maker Dream Eau de Parfum Travel Spray 0.33 oz / 10 ml eau de parfum spray # falls in the gourmand family. It’s not gourmand in the sugar sweet baked goods

The first spritz has a vanilla bourbon base to it with some amber notes as well. It smells familiar but I can’t seem to recall what it reminds me of.  The vanilla bourbon hangs in the air for a while, taking a backseat to something woodsy but not earthy or dirty. A bit of creaminess also weaves its way through maybe from the sandalwood. Before it dries down, I pick up a slightly grassy note, not too strong - it flits in and outs, before settling into a soft, warm vanilla scent. I’ve had the perfume on for going on 11 hours now and though weakening, I can still smell the vanilla.

I like it, but I’m not sure I like it enough to pick up the full size. This travel size is good for me. If they make this into a candle, I could see myself picking it up at some point.

No, it's not just you, @CookieGirl1 .  There was something not hitting the mark for me.  Now that you mention the packaging, that's what it is.
