@Mellmars1185, the fall and holiday releases are the ones I tend to gravitate more towards so I try to be extra good with low and no buys, especially in the summer. Operative word there is “try”. 😝 Some years are better than others. Eyeshadow palettes have been easier for me to pass on since having the ND Biba palette in my pan it! challenge

Those are great ideas for using bolder eyeshadow colors.

This is cool. I don't think I'll be picking it up, at least not at full price. I've barely used the one from last year 😕 It reminded me of this old UD palette

@makeitup305 @Mellmars1185  Ugh… Once upon a time I had that UD Full Spectrum palette and it ticked me off: all those pretty looking pans, yet little to no color payoff on my lids. And most of the shadows were dusty/chalky and unblendable. That palette will forever be one of the worst I’ve ever tried to use. 

I expect Danessa’s rainbow palette to be a MUCH better performer. 😂 Still, I’m trying to talk myself out of buying it. I already have several rainbow palettes with various finishes, and I’m not sure how different these duo/multichromes really are from those in the previous Lightwork eyeshadow palettes. Then again, I also said that about Lightwork V and IV yet bought both anyway (already had mini III)… I’m too much a sucker for multichromes. I have more than enough from various other brands. Buuut something tells me VI will end up in my hands anyway.

@WinglessOne I am sorry to hear about the ND palette. I am undecided if I will get the new one. But i am looking forward to watching some tutorials and hopesilly seeing some swatches. I can be convinced easily 🌈

I have full spectrum too, but you’re right, that was a disappointment! I love Danessa’s eyeshadow palates though, can’t wait for this one! @WinglessOne @makeitup305

@sister13 @WinglessOne I remember talking myself out of it because the YT reviews were so terrible. I have high expectations for this one to be sure. Even if I don't end up picking it up, I'm definitely going to be going in store to swatch it.

I wish Hourglass would sell individual pans and make these palettes magnetic. It’ll be interesting to see how different these new shades really are from previous shades.

Someone may have already posted about it, but the new PATRICK TA Major Skin Hydra-Luxe Luminous Skin Perfecting Foundation For Natural Glow is available today, 8/27/24 in stores.  Im definitely going to give it a try!

I think Sephora is trying to break me, haha. Soooo many new items I'd love to try. LoveShackFancy's new Berry Kiss mist sounds delicious. So does Montale's Bubble Forever. New favorite kits, etc etc. Yikes!
