"for when my massive collection of hair products is whittled down" ~ hahahaha @Titian06. I find myself in a seemingly endless cycle of making progress on shampoo and conditioner and then stumbing on more partially used shapoo and conditioner bottles to go through. That and washing my hair less frequently is making "whittling down" my shampoo and conditioner seem like it'll be a much longer process than I anticipated. 😅

@itsfi Cool, I hadn't seen that news before now!  I've only tried a couple of things from Davines but I'd love to try more.  Do you have any favs?

@CookieGirl1, I've liked most of the products in their OI line - Davines Mini OI Hair Oil for Softness and Shine 1.69 oz / 50 ml Davines OI Shampoo for Softness and Shine 9.46 oz / 280 ml Davines OI Conditioner for Softness and Shine 8.8 oz / 250 ml I've heard that the leave-in conditioner / detangler / heat protectant from that range is also good - there's a mini set - Davines OI Bestsellers Hair Set for Softness and Shine that I'll probably end up getting at some point.  

What have you tried from the brand?

@itsfi  I haven't tried their hair oil (it sounds like I should,) but I remember sampling this line through Birchbox years ago, and the pink shampoo and conditioner smelled so pretty (honeysuckle and musk,) and made my hair really soft.  Glad to see this is coming to Sephora.

@Ispend2much6, they're a good hair care line and yes, their shampoo and conditioners smell really good! Hopefully there will be some foil or promo gwp samples available soon. 🤞

@itsfi This is pretty cool! I probably won’t pick up anything right away but there’s definitely some stuff going on my loves list for when I pare down my backups.

I'm with ya @makeitup305. I need to finish up some hair care items that are in various stage of use - 1/5 left, 1/2 left, etc. I also have a Shu Uemura oil in the pan it! challenge that I'd like to make more progress towards but if I can make some traction there, I'll pick up the Davines Mini OI Hair Oil for Softness and Shine 1.69 oz / 50 ml # for sure, and possibly a hair mask from the brand as well.

@greeneyedgirl107, I like their Davines Mini OI Hair Oil for Softness and Shine 1.69 oz / 50 ml a lot, as well as their OI shampoo and OI conditioner - I tried foil samples of those a while back and really enjoyed them but just never got around to picking up full sizes - I have several shampoos and conditioners to work my way through. I see they have an Davines OI Bestsellers Hair Set for Softness and Shine and I may pick that up the next time there's a sale.

@itsfi I wish that the colors didn't all look so dark but I get it; it's a WOC owned brand and darker stains are typically more effective.  Hopefully the formula is good at least!

@CookieGirl1, it could be that the stain on a couple of them are not as pigmented as others. I'll eventually pick one up and will let you know. I'm fair-to-light, maaaaybe light-medium complected for a couple of weeks during the year if I actually tan, but my lips have some deeper pigment to them. We shall see how these perform. I'll keep you posted.

@itsfi how well do you think this'll stain lips?

@greeneyedgirl107, if were going on what I'm hoping for, it's that it will leave a beautiful and lasting stain on the lips (and possibly hydrating too). My only experience with their products are their lipsticks and gel liner. The color on the lipsticks were good - pigmented. I wouldn't say they were long wearing but then again, they were not marketed that way.
