@peculiarzmakeup, Merit includes their signature bag, which is similar in style to this one but made of corduroy (dark tan color) with your first purchase, regardless of how big or small your order (though free shipping starts at $40+). That was quite a fabulous intro to the brand; a nice touch. 😊

I wish I liked the Gloss Bomb formula. I know I'm in the minority on that, though. This is a cool shade!

@makeitup305 You don't like the Gloss Bombs either?!  Yay, I felt like I was practically the only one.  They LOOK pretty and I want to like them but I just can't 😕.

@WinglessOne have you seen Fwee Scene Black? I just picked it up. It's really nice and super even on the lips. I also picked up Heart Percent Mood Changer, which I enjoy also. I don't love the packaging on that one but the formula is nice. Let me know if you want some swatches and your thoughts on the Fenty if you get it!

@makeitup305  I’ve seen it but I’m choosing this Gloss Bomb instead because I like the GB formula, plus this GB is ✨sparkly✨ unlike Fwee’s gloss. I have a couple of Surratt glosses that are sheer black without any shimmer, though I suspect Fwee’s is less sticky. I’ll probably pick up one of Fwee’s more pigmented glosses though, along with a blush pot, next time I shop Olive Young or another K-beauty store.

@WinglessOne I can't begrudge you going for the sparkle. I've seen it here brands do it (Isamaya and Half Magic come to mind) but the lip swatches never look very flattering on paler lips. I like the fwee because it applies evenly and it just gives a "frozen to death" vibe but in a cool way lol I definitely want to swatch the Fenty in store and see what I think. The brand does great shades I'm just not partial to the formula. If you do end up ordering from OY, check out Dinto Peter gloss, it sounds right up your alley.

More lip oils/balms … this time from Clarins - an oil balm. 😉 

Happy to see Clarins continue to release new products (at least this one feels new to me; I don’t recall this in their previous line but I could be wrong). Shades look pretty. 

What say you @makeitup305, another lip balm to add to the collection?

@itsfi lol I think this one is a pass. I might cave if the Clinique Black Honey Lip Oil makes it to the US.

@makeitup305, I haven’t seen it on Clinique or here, but I think Ulta currently has that lip oil available online.

@itsfi I don't think it's made its way to the US yet. It's part of a LE collection I think.

@makeitup305, it was available for a split second last week before it was taken offline. I was able to place an order before that happened. 

The color and formulation is lovely. I hope they make it permanent at some point.

@CookieGirl1, that’s great to hear. I’ll end up picking one up at some point. I’m 2/3 of the way through my no buy (with a planned break yesterday, lol) and want to stick with that.
