@missjeanie @makeitup305 I wonder if they'll bring back the LE shades during the holidays, like they did with the lingonberry jam flavor last year. Or, maybe they'll do a set this year.

@itsfi I haven't tried this formula yet but I've heard good things. I want all the lip balms all the time. Just throw one in my bag and go!

@missjeanie I totally agree! The Sephora Favorite sets just aren't what they used to be (or more likely my collection is too big and I already have all the products 😝). The sets from Merit, Saie, and Summer Fridays from this last holiday sold out so quickly! They should do them seasonally and curate them. That would be awesome!

@makeitup305 I'm with you on the SC Favourites sets.  Most of the time I've already tried the products included.  The only ones I really look at these days are the fragrance ones (Just to check and see if they contain something new that I know I want) or the SPF ones in the spring.  I love the little mini's to pop in my purse.

@missjeanie unless the full size product is something I really want to try or is a holy grail, I tend to skip them. I know myself enough to know that I end up giving minis away most of the time so it's not worth it for me. The last one that I thought was really good was the one Clean Me Up set with the full size Tower 28 mascara, the full size Rose Inc blush, and the Phlur Missing Person deluxe sample. I gave the one I had previously purchased in 2022 as a gift and when this randomly restocked in December, I picked up right away.

@missjeanie @itsfi  it's the battle of the lip oils/balms lately. I think it's part of the "skincare in makeup" trend paired with the "clean girl" trend that has really caused this boom. I was tempted by the Naturium Cafe collection since I liked so many of the shades but I'm holding off for now. I have really liked the Summer Fridays ones that I picked up over the holidays so I'm making myself use those before I get anything else.

You’re awesome @makeitup305! 👊🏼 January was my low buy month and I was fairly good. I picked up a few things that were on my “permitted purchases” list at the end of the month so they’ll trickle in this month, which I’m hoping to make a “no buy” month.

Yep, there's an avalanche of lip product releases of late. Not a complaint there @makeitup305, just an observation. As someone who loves lip products, i don't mind at all. @missjeanie posted about a few of them she saw on IG, including these OH ones. @CookieGirl1, is it just the scent on the cocoa one that you're disappointed with (which I get)? How was the consistency and wear for you?

@itsfi the Strawberry Sorbet smells a little stronger but I don't notice it whatsoever once it's on my lips.  As far as wear time/longevity and texture, it honestly is just OK for me.  You like the Rhode lip treatments, though, and the thickness is very similar in my opinion so you may really like these.  I just prefer something quite a bit thicker.  That being said, these are comfortable, easy to throw on, and the colors are fairly sheer so they add a delicate wash of pigment that can be very flattering.

@CookieGirl1, I see. I have the original and the lingonberry version of these OH balm and like them. Interesting that the strawberry has a stronger scent. Fragrance in skincare can be a challenge in many ways.

@makeitup305 I'm honestly really disappointed because I feel like the cocoa scent is VERY mild.  I was hoping for more 😕

@CookieGirl1 bummer! I know Glossier had the Glossier Limited Edition Balm Dotcom Lip Balm and Skin Salve Hot Cocoa (it's the old formula) but not everyone likes that formula. I'm surprised Laneige didn't make theirs permanent.

@itsfi  Omg!!!! 😳 is the theme of 2024 lip oils???? I feel like I will need to try this for science! Also packaging looks similar to the Rhode peptide!

lol, @ather! Ain't that the truth?! I'm all for it but it means I need to work a little harder with working through my lip stash to make it (a little more) justifiable to pick up more lip products right now. 😂 I thought the same thing about the similarity with the Rhode lip treatments, which are still faves of mine. 

Science can be so demanding! 😆 I'm on board with you doing it for science ather. Be a team player! Hahahaha! We need to know how this performs.

@itsfi I'm soooooooo curious about this one.  I'm hoping it has a similar texture to the Summer Fridays, but like... they had to put different scents in them... so now I'll need to test them all.  I'm initially thinking the Watermelon Kiwi will be too pale on my lips, and that I might pick up the Ube and the Dulce De Leche.  I'm seeing it's out Feb 6th... I'm fingers crossed I can swatch next weekend!  I really do need to declutter a bit to make room for all these oils and balms coming out.

Oh, a swatch party @missjeanie?!!! Fun! There are so many great lip products being launched. I'm definitely taking notes and keeping a list - I'm actually rather surprised I'm not chomping at the bit more than I am. No FOMO but definitely major interest in these beauties. It certainly offers some push to declutter as well. I don't think I've decluttered any of my lip products from the capsule makeup challenge (yet, at least). Hope these will be in stores for you to swatch - will be interested in your take on these. Hoping they smell like they sound. Though I'm not sure what Ube would smell like; I'm now trying to recall whether I pick up a scent from it or from any Ube products I've used or consumed. Hmmm 🤔 I feel a rabbit hole 🕳 is going to pop out any minute for me to fall down ...  😅

@itsfi I swear it's all the different scents associated with a lot of these that has been giving my wallet flirty glances.  Ube is the shade I like the most and the one I was most curious to smell for exactly that reason... I couldn't remember if Ube smells at all lol!
