Eye creams

Ladies in late 30s....which eye cream do you prefer for crows feet???

Re: Eye creams

I seal in the retinol with Dr. Brandt's DNA eye cream.  It has strengthened my skin and plumped up my wrinkles.  Fresh's Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream is my second favorite because it does such a great job of providing moisture to this delicate area.  But the Dr. Brandt stuff takes the cake.  I don't care how much it costs; I will purchase it over and over again.

RE: Eye creams

Retinol + Rose Hip Oil Super hydrate on top of retinol so you can work your way up to using it everyday, otherwise the area will be super sensitive and youโ€™ll stop. There are no miracles. Retinol will reduce FINE lines (but it canโ€™t erase them) and Rose Hip Oil helps with the lines and with the moist. Vit C is important to prevent your skin from getting even older, but will not reduce the lines, itโ€™ll just make the aspect of the skin nicer, more clear and glowy, so if you can combine thatโ€™s ideal. But, to be honest, if you have super strong lines -> Botox! People have prejudice against it, but Botox will help prevent lines from getting worse and worse, since for 4/6 months it โ€œfreezesโ€ time on that area. But never stop your skin care treatments if you decide to get Botox.

Dermalogica bio vitamin C serum!!

Eye creams

@Aggie004 Retinol is a definite must, so I'm not disagreeing with any of the recommendations here, but when you start battling fine lines, another ingredient you definitely want to be using is alpha lipoic acid. It's an antioxidant that has been shown in clinical trials and on my face to do freaking magic against fine lines, pushing them back for years. Dr. Perricone uses it in his products, which are expensive, and he even funded a clinical trial to prove the benefits. Side-eye that research all you want, but don't skip out on ALA. It often shows up in ingredient lists as thioctic acid and you can search on Cosdna for a long lists of products that contain it. The Ordinary used to sell it as its own star ingredient, but doesn't anymore, so as far as I know, you're going to have to find it within another product. I know that it's in Ole Henriksen's Truth Serum, which is awesome, it's also in Trader Joe's Antioxidant Serum, so it's not necessarily expensive and is easy to find in a product combined with other stuff like vitamin c that you already know works. You can also take it as a vitamin supplement, but if you do, be aware that those are undiluted and rough on your stomach so stick to a low dose and take with food. But I'm not even kidding, GET IT ON YOUR FACE. Use it in a serum all over your face and eyes because it also works around the mouth, on the forehead, etc. It is so good for your skin health! Then get one of the products listed below with retinol and watch time turn back on your skin!! This advice goes for everybody! I started using ALA supplements when I had my first fine lines around my eyes and erased them completely for FIVE YEARS! This was before I even started retinol. If you already have lines, use this to improve them, if you don't have lines yet, use this to prevent them, but get you some alpha lipoic acid!!

Re: Eye creams

@Aggie004 I prefer eye creams with retinol.  I've spent a long time building up my tolerance.  I started under my eyes and at the corners with FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Skin Lab Retinol Serum 0.25% Pure Concentrate; I'm on my third bottle.  I've been working for about 1.5 years on using OBAGI CLINICAL - Retinol 0.5 Retexturizing Cream and can now tolerate it pretty much every day.  I recently decided to target my upper orbital area with FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid.  The dryness was minimal, and only lasted a few days (if that).  I've also been using DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE - Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serumon my eye lids with zero irritation.

Re: Eye creams

yes, the ROC retinol eye cream is good and cheap.  I also like the crepe erase eye cream.
