Small bumps all over my face!

I have so many small bumps all over my face. I don't know if it's keratosis pilaris or milia or clogged pores 😞 I just really want to get rid of them. I've always suffered from acne, and I've come along way, it's just these **bleep** small bumps!

Past 3 months I’ve been on a retin-a (tretinoin 0.025%). It’s helped me clear all my cystic acne and made my skin looks great (so happy 😁 I googled 'Getret247' 😍 and got it), but now I’m dealing with problem like you.

Texture issues and small clogged pores often appear when the skin is very dehydrated and the moisture barrier disrupted. Tret and bp can cause dehydration and compromise the barrier.

I have the same problem too and it got better after I focused on hydration.

I would try to get more hydration into the skin. Maybe chose a toner/essence with panthenol or polyglutamic acid and a moisturiser with urea.

I would recommend going to a dermatologist before using any special products on your face. There are many different causes for each and every person that has these bumps, and make sure you are not using irritating products, like ones with essential oils in them. I have keratosis Polaris on my arms and salicylic acid has also helped a lot!

I Stop drinking low - fat cow milk and start drinking coconut milk and my acne that was suffering for 3 years started to disappear. I Also use Zin Oxide powder with my cream night, and whala! Can you believe it? Too much money that I lost in products!

I used to have this as well! What helped me treat it was a consistent skincare routine. I noticed that if I skipped even just one day, little bumps would pop up. It also took about three months of consistency before I noticed any change. When my acne was severe, I refrained from wearing foundation for more than a few hours. I’ve never been able to treat bumps once they pop up, but consistency in my skin care routine prevented them. Hope this helps!

Additionally, I use Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser 5 days a week, and Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash 2 days a week. I also only cleanse at night. But, I am using these products in conjunction with a prescribed benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid cream (which is why I use the hydro boost cleanser, as it dries my skin). Before I had the prescribed cream, I used the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Facial Cleanser instead of the Hydro Boost Cleanser, and I used the Redness Soothing Cleanser every morning as well.

I used to have the same thing! I suffered with it for years. What causes it is oil from your skin and calcium that builds up on your skin combining and blocking your pores. I finally got rid of it - tho the concessional bump will appear. I used Epionce Lytic Acid Cleanser and that helped. Murad is also a good line. I would avoid any granular microderabrasion products until your skin is clear. I believe my bumps were caused by Cliniques microdermabrasion scrub! Hope this helps!

Check if it’s multiple military osteoma cutis.

Scrubbing, exfoliating make it worse.  It’s from chronic inflammation like long standing acne and does not go away but there’s protocol to treat

I have these all over my face. Literally all over. I've been considered that I may have a food allergy but have not eaten or been around anything that's particularly new. I'm on vacation RN so no dermatologist APPT any time soo. I hope it's nothing to bad. It's just super annoying that every time I'm in a place with extreme lighting it looks like I've got the mother of all break outs on my face.

It's fungal acne. Just head and shoulders or nizeral

Ask your dermatologist but in the meantime I would recommend a gentle cleanser like the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser to keep your face clean without aggravating chemicals

I want to second what everyone has said here.  I highly recommend some allergy testing if your insurance covers it - I've discovered that eating lots of dairy really increases those bumps for me - I get them right under my eye area.  I've heard microdermabrasion, as @Cyll mentioned below, can really help too.  Good luck!  🙂

I've been devouring the internet to see who else had something like this. I have no idea why it happens for me. My skincare doesn't seem to help at all. I also began to see little bumps come up behind the back of my ears and near my eyes. I never thought about it, but I may be allergic to something: ingested or topical.

I have the same kind of "flare up" on my face at the moment. These small bumps that cover my cheeks and are so annoying.  With me,  this always happens when I go to bed without cleansing (I know,  grave error but there are times when you're just too exhausted ) or I just do a cursory wipe with a cotton pad and miceller water.  It takes a couple of days of pampering my skin - properly cleansing,  applying a face mask and good skincare to help this settle down.  I prefer to use the Vichy double glow peel mask but I just rinse it off instead of massaging and then rinsing since I don't want to aggravate the bumps.  Hope this helps.

Did you ever find a face wash or face scrub to help Because I have the exact same problem with my skin.. I also hate when I put my foundation on and when I'm outside you can see all the bumps  and it drives me absolute crazy !! I'm using the biore charcoal face wash right now but idk if it working so well as I thought it would 🙄

I have this! it used to be only on my forehead for YEARS and then it got really itchy one night and I woke up in the morning and they were gone (completely!) but I think mine were from a diary allergy I didn't know I had. Now they're back and worse than ever - all over my face like yours just not as close to my eyes. No acne treatments help mine so I'm going to see an allergist because I'm afraid I may have developed a gluten intolerance (my dermatologist told me it's an environmental allergy that will eventually go away and although they are worse when there is extreme weather I don't think this is the root of the issue).
