Looking for a good drugstore face wash for acne!

My skin has gotten more oily since I started washing with alba’s Acne dote face wash I feel like it’s making my skin go into oil production overdrive!  I was using the cerave sa cleanser. Any other recommendations? Also possibly looking for a good drugstore moisturizer that doesn’t feel greasy I’ve tried Neutrogena oil free moisturizer but it’s didn’t hydrate!

I use cetaphil. I was my face in the morning. At night i wash my face with dove soap to remove any dirt that might’ve gotten on my skin through the day and i wash with cetaphil after for my oily-ness and acne. It seems to be working.

La Roche Posay Effaclar medicated gel cleanser for acne prone skin plus the clarifying solution facial toner has done wonders for my skin

I’ve tried a lot of stuff for acne. Bottom line is that your skin and body change almost monthly. Cetaphil ( gentle enough for babies) burned my face a year ago. Today I use neutrogena oil-free acne wash, and at night their hyalauronic acid water gel to absorb moisture into my skin. My oily skin is heridatary and also the result of overcompensating for dryness. I haven’t noticed a decrease in oil but definitely less breakouts. On a happy note - oily skin has less wrinkles when you get older 🙂 just keep that SPF high

I use CeraVe’s foaming cleanser. Have you considered only washing your face at night? I wash with the cleanser at night and then just splash my face with water + tone in the morning, and I feel like it’s helped my oiliness.

Cetaphil has a really good line of oil-control acne products that helped clear my friend's cystic acne - the DermaControl Foam Wash. They have a moisturizer from the same line, not sure of the efficacy of it though as neither of us have used it, but chances are it's something that may interest you!
