What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

Re: What's on your plate?

Re: What's on your plate?

@makeitup305 Wow they look really good.

Re: What's on your plate?

@SportyGirly125 thank you! I think this recipe is going to be a staple from now on. I was impressed at how well they held their shape.

Re: What's on your plate?

Family lunch for today. Kiddo had chicken strips and my husband and I shared the rest. And I didn’t make any of these 😂🤣 I forgot to take pictures of my lychee martini and banana pudding desert.

Eating out looks like it was so much fun!

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014 a lychee martini sounds delicious!

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014 Your family meal looks fabulous 🤩 The martini and dessert sound like they were delicious

Re: What's on your plate?

We live it up a little while on vacation @CynthieLu 😘

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014  Wow, this all looks soooo delicious!!

Re: What's on your plate?

@heartsmyface We tried this place out for the first time. It was pretty good. The price is kinda hefty since we also pay for the view 😂🤣

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014 Whoa...you forgot to invite me. Those look delicious!

Re: What's on your plate?

Come on over @Samtian … it’s just a plane ride away but you have to be fast since we’re about to head back home soon 😂🤣

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014 It's a short plane ride too!

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014  Oh my gosh, everything looks so delicious! I've never heard of a lychee martini!

Re: What's on your plate?

@Shosh85 Anywhere with big Asian community liked San Francisco or Hawaii you would see this on the cocktail menu 😘

Re: What's on your plate?

I will second that @blackkitty2014 @Shosh85. The first time I'd seen a lychee martini on a menu was in the Bay Area. It was yummy!

Re: What's on your plate?

I ordered Lychee martini every time I see it on the menu and don’t have to drive @itsfi 😘

Re: What's on your plate?

@itsfi @blackkitty2014  I had no idea! There's actually a pretty big Asian community here in Portland - I just Googled it out curiosity, and it looks like there's several places near me that sell them! ..... I just don't get out much 😂 If I can ever get away from the kiddos, I'll have to try one!

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014 Looks Delicious and fresh 😋

Re: What's on your plate?

Dinner last night was General Tso's Chicken with rice and broccoli. The broccoli was tossed with a little olive oil, ground orange peel, ginger and some minced garlic. Super easy to make, and my picky eater of a husband loved it, so even better!
