Happy New Year, BIC! We’re kicking off 2024 with an important reminder: we all need to take good care of ourselves – this year and beyond. 😊 Some of us may make resolutions, and others may already have their regular routines down to a tee; regardless of where you are in your self-care journey, we could all use a few extra reminders and a bit of motivation to spend a little extra T.L.C. on ourselves!

Like similar posts from previous years, we’ve come up with a list of weekly prompts to challenge you to exercise your self-care skills in different ways. 🧡 We encourage you to participate and respond to the prompts that speak to you – and don’t be afraid to share any other self-care tips and tricks along the way!

Oh yay week 4 🙃

I actually finished up 2 of my masks couple weeks ago (but definitely in January). I have a bucket (literally) of asian sheet masks in the fridge downstairs but don't have any favorites 😂

Here are my favorites that I usually have on rotation ❤️

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Hyaluronic Clay Pore-Tight Facial Mask 2.03 oz/ 60 mL (finished. May replace this one going forward with the innisfree Super Volcanic AHA Pore Clearing Clay Mask 3.38 oz / 100 ml)

#Olehenriksen phat glow (IS THIS DISCONTINUED?!?!??!)

LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask with Niacinamide & Squalane 2.3 oz/ 70 mL (I think mine is old, I have about like 1 use left 😀 so excited to finish itttt!)

Farmacy Honey Potion Plus Ceramide Hydration Mask 1.7 oz/ 50 g (wearing it now hehe)

@jaaayp, nice set of masks. It seems like the OleHenriksen Phat Glow has been discontinued - it's not showing up on either Sephora or the brand's site. The brand seems to phase out certain lines and products with some regularity (e.g., every 5 years or so). You have the original version of that Laneige sleeping mask (or, at least the original version that was available in the US). 

The innisfree clay mask is a good one - the new formulation (white jar) seems to be similiar (though not the same) to the old version, at least as ingredients go. Hopefully the functionality hasn't changed. For me, the previous version (brown jar) of the innisfree clay mask performed better than the Glow Recipe mask.

You are like the beauty encyclopedia @itsfi !!! I'm definitely disappointed 😞 should have scooped it up when it was on sale. I actually bought one in November or December but my friend loved it and stole it from me. I may have to go steal it back... im excited for the innisfree Super Volcanic AHA Pore Clearing Clay Mask 3.38 oz / 100 ml. I know I had the OG one years ago and went through it like it was water..

@jaaayp, do you have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls near you? I've found that discontinued OleHenriksen skincare has a way of finding themselves there. OH had this 3-step Power Bright peel a very long time ago and then poof! It was gone. It made its way to several TJ Maxx / Marshalls (it was a fairly popular one among some of the maskers on the mask thread at the time.)  I waited patiently until the buyer for my TJ Maxx / Marshalls figured out that they should pick some up for their store 😂 and when I saw them, I pounced. But I made sure to leave a few boxes for other people as well. I mean, I only have one face so there's only so many peels I can do. 🤣

The innisfree mask is fantastic - it's not flashy in its aesthetic but it wows and shines in its performance and results. A definite tried-and-true product that I continue to come back to time and time again.

It's been added to my cart @itsfi I'm also going to be picking up the  EADEM Bare-Skin Confidence Brightening Trio With Niacinamide and Vitamin C because of you! This community is dangerous, I'm telling you and you're like the queen of sales over here LOLOL I do have Marshall's AND tjmax. I have like 4 of them within 5 mile radius actually... I hate going there though because it's always a war zone but now that you mention it.. maybe it's time for me to go and cruise the lanes 😂😂😂

It's good @peculiarzmakeup ! I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it's amazing or life changing but I definitely would say that it's gentle but yet effective and awesome to use on a regular basis (vs like the downtime because the mask is so strong). Hope you enjoy it!!! 😉

I hope I'll like innisfree Super Volcanic AHA Pore Clearing Clay Mask 3.38 oz / 100 ml in its newest form as much as I liked the previous two.

Have to add two more products to my wellness loves: a heating pad that kinda looks like a corset...I align it to go over my right hip for pain and it helps so much.  And Old Navy cozy socks.   I picked some up over Christmas and they are better than what Target sells and my stash of old ones.  I ordered several on clearance.  I also ordered my husband some cozy socks from Amazon.   His feet are swollen and his gold toe socks are too hard to get on.

Thank you @peculiarzmakeup! Over the years, my skin has, for better or worse, had many different concerns to address so I've gone through a few different masks during that time depending on my skin's mood.
