This is soo adorable @angel7594. I made a small order last night. I dont have anything else on my list (ahem, i try to be good). I wish they offer this once to every Rouge (including online purchase). Enjoy!!! It is so cute
I stopped in store with my mailer containing the 15% off bar code, and at the cash wrap I gave it to the SA. I still had to ask for the sample bag and card holder after my transaction. There seemed to be some confusion regarding the offer, I wish the communication was better and consistent, because it turns a fun outing into a frustrating experience for the customer. I do not feel Rouge members should have to ask for the gift after giving the coupon to the cashier. It should be an automatic prompt in my opinion.
The card case is really cute and well made. I am glad I went in to get one. It was really nice to have a change from the previous cosmetic bags. My sample bag contained the same items in the photo.
@angel7594. I’m sorry you had that experience!! I went to Sephora twice in person I did a ‘controlled strike” on Friday. I took an early/long lunch and was there by 10:45am. I got the sample bag and card without having to ask, but the SA KEPT my coupon!!! Seeing as how they are resueable, I do not think they should do that. Fortunately I had the digital coupon in my apple wallet so I was able to use it again the next day when I went. day two they threw in foil samples, and were SUPER staffed so I was able to once again do a controlled strike and ONLY buy what I went in for. I bought Olaplex because I am full on mermaids FYI get my hair today and wanted to reverse the damage from bleach!!!
I'm annoyed that I had to ask for the discount (the cashier said she couldn't give it to me until I asked even though she had my VIB card). Then I didn't even get any of the samples or the card case. All I got was a special bag to hold my purchase...I wish I'd thought of asking for the samples, but I was already in the parking lot when I realized she hadn't given them to me.

But why? If I have the VIB Rouge card and I've handed it over, why not just give the promotion automatically?

Yeah, I am really not bothered about not getting the sample bag, though I would've been had it been a bag of deluxe samples. I am more annoyed by the inconsistency that continues with communicating these things to the staff. The Pacific Centre and Robson locations are just blocks apart and had two different understandings of what the promo included/involved. Appreciate the discount and am glad I got the card case, but to see that everyone's experience was so varied is what I find silly.
I've been good! Well, sort of... I was impatient to wait to buy a new Armani ecstasy lacquer so I grabbed one yesterday (I plan to wear it this weekend).
There are other things I want but nothing I need so I'm not gonna buy anything with my discount this time around! I grabbed a few things from Ulta instead.
To me it was the opposite. I got only the card case and zero samples. Associate didn't even know what was happening. When I asked for the samples, she told me I could only redeem Beauty Awards for samples... So frustrating! Being Rouge seems so pointless these days.

@kookygal Hilarious! I just went to the Robson location and ONLY got the card case, no samples! They told the girl beside me that you only get samples if you order online...

Hmmm... interesting @kookygal and @NotCrocker. I did get both, but had to ask for both. The sales person didn't seem to clear about what was included in the promo. I thought she may have just been new, but it sounds like elsewhere there were similar experiences.
I live 90 min one way from a Sephora. Can I just send a friend? I have to work 8-5 and don’t want to drive that far in rush hour traffic. Is there any consideration to making these rouge gifts available online in the future?
