Well, I am 50 And over the last year I have been discovering that makeup brings me joy. Learning about how to use it, trying new things out, and most of all wearing it. I didn’t expect it to be so much fun but it really has become a part of my routine. I started wearing makeup because of HD video conferencing and just looking for a few things to get rid of dark circles and even out my mild rosacea and a few spots. Then, Sephora happened with a really helpful advisor. Now I have really started to get into it and have been having a ball with it. By the way, I’m also a man. My girlfriend is pretty okay with it, as long as I keep it natural. I would say most can’t tell that I am wearing anything. As far as holy grail goes Hmm, I really like MUFE 4K stick foundation. It matches perfect, blends effortlessly, and provided I put mineral veil and set it, it stays put all day. But it transfers so easy.... I really wish this wouldn’t transfer as much as it does. So that would be my holy grail.

And to think When the nice young lady that helped me at Sephora said “Most guys that I help come back and end up getting more stuff” I Said, “not me, this will be it.” I was very wrong and yep, I really think that makeup is a lot of fun. It’s almost addictive in a way. I just haven’t gotten the courage to try anything really bold just yet. I’d like to though someday

Hi there @Skatingaway! Good call on the helping the redness for those HD conference calls. I'm always appalled at how I look on them, haha. I am a huge fan of DR. JART+ - Cicapair ™ Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30

for controlling my redness. I find it goes on best with a foundation brush. I'm sure a beauty blender would work too!

Such a great foundation @Skatingaway !  I love this one too... stick foundations don't get enough love.  They can be so versatile depending on how they're applied.  I sometimes wonder if it's just me with transfer... I seem to get it with all my foundations. so awkward when you don't realize it transferred to your hand and ends up on work papers... lol

On product transfer, Not just you for sure. I have to be very aware of my application when I wear collared shirts I really like the stick from MUFE and the bare minerals hydrating one too. I’ve tried liquids and powders but those 2 with a stippling brush works really well for me. I also like how well it blends with the powder I use to do slight contour on my cheekbones and jaw. It’s really good for beginners because it blends so well for me. I am
