Monthly Favorites: September 2025 Edition!

Happy fall—officially—BIC, I hope September has treated you well! I’m in my annual cliché fall girl cycle, hyped about the leaves changing 🍂, pumpkin everything, candles, comfort show rewatch 😉, and MORE. 🤩

Of course, I also have some new goodies to yap about, fresh from the annual Sephora HQ Gratis box haul… drumroll please! 🥁 I’m stepping into the changing season with this decadent shower oil from L'Occitane and dreamy body & hair mist from Touchland. 😍 I mix the oil with my body wash when I’m needing some extra indulgence and encourage you to do the same. This Vanilla Velvet scent is cozy but lasting, even though it’s a mist, and is the perfect fall transition scent.

Lastly, I finally got my grimy mitts on the viral Kulfi lip oil stains when they got restocked and they happily joined my lip hall of fame! 💋 They are everything they promise and more, long-lasting, hydrating and GORGEOUS shades. I enjoy that you can keep it glossy 🌟 or wipe off the gloss for a more natural stained look too! If you haven’t tried, hop to it immediately BIC, you won’t regret it. 💞

@PrettyPaint  Heh, I still haven’t tried one on my lips. Are they long-wearing for you as lipstick? (I don’t expect them to survive a meal, but I do like lipsticks to hold up to drinks.)

@WinglessOne I've found them to pretty long wearing. I can wear them to work, and they seem to survive my coffee habit, at least. I've never really had much trouble with wear-time on lipsticks, though.

@KhyleyBT  I need to try the Kulfi! And in the shades you chose also.

I know that Tatcha has some very popular products, but I haven’t found many that really work for me (except for the Kissu Lip Jelly,) until now.

The lip scrub and treatment are simply incredible. I have never tried any that are so effective at moisturizing, even the scrub.

I received the luminous eye serum as a freebie during their lucky bag event. Another winner!  It’s unscented🙌 and the only eye product that smoothed the new wrinkle under my eyes the first try! 

My go to eye cream is Clinique’s All About the Eye, but I need to keep this one on hand also.

The Salt and Stone cleanser is available on their site. It’s mildly scented with herbal notes and dissipates after use. It does not suds, but cleans well and is gentle. I like it for the a.m. I can see this being good for the winter.

We love a Tatcha appreciation post @Ispend2much6. 💜 And good to know on the Salt and Stone face cleanser! Have you tried any of their bath and body products? I'm thinking about trying one of their body wash (maybe the saffron and cedar scent) the next time I need a new one. 😊

@KhyleyBT  I haven't tried the bath products.  I stopped at the deodorants because they're so good.  I do like the bergamot scent so it's a possibility.  I'll have to see if their site sells the minis to try.

@KhyleyBT  ooh, I love your idea of mixing the L'Occitane shower oil with body wash - I'm going to have to try that!

💜Maison Margiela 'REPLICA' By The Fireplace 3.4 oz / 100 mL  love this scent, and it's perfect for fall!

Glossier Lip Glaze - Chilly and Frosty (can't find the tag) I love these, I have been using them near-daily! In fact I have used Frosty so much, I'm going to need to restock!

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Find Comfort Niacinamide Hydrating Hand Cream 1.6 oz / 50 mL it's hand cream season, and this is such a nice one, I've really been enjoying it.

TOM FORD Cafe Rose Eau de Parfum Fragrance with Ylang Ylang & Coffee 1 oz / 30 ml eau de parfum spray (sample) I recently tried my sample of this fragrance and absolutely loved it! I plan to pick up Sephora Favorites Perfume Sampler Set and use the voucher for a full size bottle of this to save some $$.

Great faves @caitbird! I haven't tried any of the Rare bath and body products yet but will absolutely need to restock hand creams sooner than later, so I might add that to my next shopping list. 💜

So, I think I have finally entered my curly girly era.  It's been interesting getting there. I present to thee, the less stress tress team .

I am still struggling with some things, but I find this team gets me to a respectable afro with some random ringlets 😂. That pattern bottle is also a savior in a heat wave.

Love that you're in your curly girly era @danielledanielle, hair love is truly a journey but one well worth it! 💞 Looks like you have a great roster of products to help you along the way too 😉, I thought I'd toss a couple recs into the ring! If you like PATTERN and Ceremonia, I love the PATTERN by Tracee Ellis Ross Curl Mousse for Curls & Coils and the Ceremonia Guava Rescue Hair Heat Protectant Spray 6.7 oz / 200 mL (it's a heat protectant/primer but I like it as a detangler or to give a little boost between wash days). Also love everything I've tried from Sienna Naturals! Their styling products are fantastic and smell divine. 🤩

@SportyGirly125 The Jasper Plum version of the Airstrait looks beautiful. I think the Airstrait is probably the best hair tool I've ever owned. I hope it lasts for years and years.
