Monthly Favorites: September 2025 Edition!

Happy fall—officially—BIC, I hope September has treated you well! I’m in my annual cliché fall girl cycle, hyped about the leaves changing 🍂, pumpkin everything, candles, comfort show rewatch 😉, and MORE. 🤩

Of course, I also have some new goodies to yap about, fresh from the annual Sephora HQ Gratis box haul… drumroll please! 🥁 I’m stepping into the changing season with this decadent shower oil from L'Occitane and dreamy body & hair mist from Touchland. 😍 I mix the oil with my body wash when I’m needing some extra indulgence and encourage you to do the same. This Vanilla Velvet scent is cozy but lasting, even though it’s a mist, and is the perfect fall transition scent.

Lastly, I finally got my grimy mitts on the viral Kulfi lip oil stains when they got restocked and they happily joined my lip hall of fame! 💋 They are everything they promise and more, long-lasting, hydrating and GORGEOUS shades. I enjoy that you can keep it glossy 🌟 or wipe off the gloss for a more natural stained look too! If you haven’t tried, hop to it immediately BIC, you won’t regret it. 💞

Kitsch satin lined flexible shower cap is my favorite!  So easy to use and has a great seal to keep my hair dry.  I highly recommend it!  I just gifted one to a friend.

I am loving the Alpyn brand.  Recently tried the ALPYN Clarifying Retinol Facial Oil For Pores & Brightening 1 oz / 30 ml .  I can say I definitely see an improvement in the texture of my skin.

Ahhh I keep coming back to this cream. Nothing makes my hair so smooth and soft after blow drying and heat styling. It's a true 🐐✨

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil Dragon Fruit 

The weather is getting cooler in the morning and I need a hydrating no fuss gloss that does the work. This one keeps my lips hydrated all day with a touch of color. She's wonderful. 💕

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder - Tinted Primer & Foundation Universal 

I love a primer that performs well, especially in my hotter work environment. Danessa doesn't
play around, her primers really work for me and stay put all day. Even in a hot kitchen.👌

@CynthieLu since you love the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder - Tinted Primer & Foundation , have you tried her new setting spray yet?

I like the universal balm for my primer but I've been using her skin tint, the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint Foundation with Peptides + Ceramides as my go to foundation @CookieGirl1. I haven't tried her setting spray. There's a good chunk of her releases that didn't make it to the Canadian Sephora Shelves. 😭😭 And the tariff situation has made ordering from her directly just not doable. We've missed out on things like the Pastel Palette, Radiant Primer and Setting Spray.

That's too bad, @CynthieLu !  I meant to buy the setting spray during the Sephora F&F sale, but forgot.  It's waiting on my Loves list for the next sale or when my current spray runs out, whichever is sooner.

I was looking at products at Dedcool because they have a lot not available at Sephora. I really wanted to try the body wash and lotion. I went to checkout and realized that half the charges were for shipping. So then I emptied my basket.

@CynthieLu - No, I haven't tried the radiant finish.  It came out after I bought my summer supply of the regular balm.

Thanks, @Ispend2much6 , for your thoughts on the radiant balm!  I like your idea of combining the two.  That may be next summer's primer. 😁  I don't care to be too radiant. 😄
