Monthly Faves: November 2025!
Howdy, BIC! I hope you’re all doing well, spending quality time with loved ones, taking care of yourselves, and getting ready to close out the year! I want to recognize that this season, especially now, can be extra busy with lots of pressure to shop ‘til you drop (hey, sometimes that is its own form of self-care 😜), so manifesting lots of peace, joy, and ~balance~ for my fellow Community members, whatever that looks like for you! As for me, I simply cannot resist a good deal, but I’ll be hyper-focused on mindful gifts and must-haves (okay, and maybe a treat or two for myself…) 😁
Speaking of self-care, here are some products that have sparked joy for me this month:
Your turn, BIC! Use the reply button below to share your own favorite products for November. Be sure to tag any products you mention with the “#” symbol (hair, makeup, fragrance, wellness, skincare, etc.)!
@caitbird I LOVE the Nest candles! Holiday seems to be my favourite this year, but maybe it's just because I haven't burnt a Pumpkin Chai this season? I think these are sold at my local pharmacy. I may need to go spend some points this weekend!
@missjeanie I love Nest Holiday too! I haven't burned mine yet this year, but I'm looking forward to it. Man, I wish my local pharmacy carried them...but it's probably better for my wallet that they don't 😂
lol @caitbird I'm lucky in that I spend points I earn at the grocery store on fun goodies this time of year at my pharmacy. Nest is almost always included!
The Nest seasonal scents are wonderful @caitbird especially their fall collections. Oooh, that Noyz scent sounds like a great fit for the fall - and winter, too! Cozy and comfy.
@itsfi definitely agree on the Nest! I got this Pumpkin Chai candle as part of a set of 3 fall candles (Autumn Plum, Pistachio & Wild Fig, and Pumpkin Chai) and I loved all 3. And I am obsessed with Noyz Unmute for this time of year!
Nest scents are fabulous @caitbird and Grape Splash 🙌🏽
@danielledanielle yes, I love Nest, and Grape Splash too! I need to try wearing it with the lip liner from the set too.
@caitbird I love Mooncat polish too! I also took advantage of the recent sale! 🙂
@PrettyPaint Mooncat is the best, and the sale is the best time to buy!
@CorgiMommy thank you! I love Mooncat and I love all things purple, and this dark, moody wine shade is perfect for fall.
It feels like we were just talking favorites for the first of the year not all that long ago and here we are @AlexBT, with November favorites!! 🍂🍁 How?! This month's faves are mostly items I've had in my collection for a while, but have either just made my way to using this month or that I've rediscovered again. Newness from the savings event is trickling in and I know it won't be all that long before I find some new favorites among those hauls. 🛍 But, as for November ...
Monthly Favorites: November 2025!
INNBEAUTY PROJECT Mineral Sun Glow Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 43 PA +++ with Peptides and Vitamin C - "glow" is right; not like a strobe light type of glow but that "healthy, illuminating "what's she doing with her skin?" kind of radiance. On good skin days, it's been this lightweight, mineral sunscreen, and concealer over a few blemishes and spots. I originally brought this back into my skincare rotation again because I saw that we're coming up on the expiration date in a few months, but I have found myself liking it a lot. I forgot how this gives my complexion an instantly visible glow.
This Solawave Bye Acne: 3 Minute Blue + Red Light Acne Treatment device and Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner for Clear Skin (as a spot treatment) make this month's favorites list because sadly, breakouts happen. 😞 Still, at this age. 😩 I went into more detail about the Solawave device in It's Tool Time - The BIC Beauty Edition thread, but essentially, incorporating these two products in my routine has made for a (relatively) quick and effective 1-2 punch when I start to feel a pimple forming.
Another combination I've been loving is the pairing of the MERIT Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner Capricorn and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil Cherry. The Merit liner wears differently on my lips than how it swatches on my hand and how it's described, but I don't mind, I like how the shade shows up on my lips.
Happy Thanksgiving! Sending warm and well wishes to all as we work towards closing out the year. Thankful for this Community, @TeamBIC ❣️
@itsfi Thank you for sharing your faves, itsfi! We are so thankful for you too! 🍂
Your pic is cracking me up because my brain registered the Paula's Choice as full-size, and I was like wow that is a huge Fenty Lip Oil! And eventually my brain woke up. But seriously, how cute is that mini toner? Love that you've found an effective way to combat pesky unwanted spots before they fully form! My emergency go-to continues to be Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Healing Dots, but that's more of an after-the-fact treatment and less of a preventative measure!
Hahahaha! How much fun would that be to have a super-sized Fenty lip oil though @AlexBT?!! I move to name it The Alex Edit if/when Fenty releases one. Dear Fenty ...
Minis are so great! There are certain products I love in a jumbo size but mini's !!! So cute and I find them pretty functional too - great for travel, excellent way to test out products, and for some items that are more seasonal for me, they're well sized. If I have a jumbo size of a product, chances are I also have a mini. 😂 I like to keep the whole family together, lol.
Oh goodness, it's ever a work in progress and a roller coaster ride when it comes to dealing with these pesky pimples. This little zapping tool has come in handy for the smaller ones but yes, pimple patches are definitely ones to have on hand. Those Peace Out dots are super! I mean, you could say, I'm very familiar with a few pimple patches ... truly wish I wasn't in such a long-term relationship with them. Le sigh. 🙄
@itsfi I love the Innbeauty Sun Glow. But I just unpacked all of my base and SPF's.... where is mine??? Do you find the Merit lip liners long lasting?
Did you end up finding your INNBeauty SPF @missjeanie? Mine was packed with my primers(?) 🤷🏻♀️ Or maybe check your highlighters because it does give quite a glow! 🤩
The Merit liners aren’t very long lasting, but then again, they don’t claim to be. If Dior & Tom Ford were on one end (very long lasting) and Rhode on the other end, the Merit ones would lean closer to the Rhode lip contours in terms of longevity. They do wear longer if I wear them on their own to sculpt and fill my lips, without a balm or oil/gloss over or under it but I rarely have it on just by itself.
@itsfi I have not found it. I suspect it's shoved into a pocket of a bag that I'll find three months after the expiry date! lol
Good to know on the Merit liners. I have quite a few that fall into that category currently and lip liners may be the one area of beauty products I haven't developed an obsession over yet so I'm not feeling a strong need for them! Whewwwww! Saved a few $$$ there!
I love all this, it's a use what you got situation, but it's also upping your skincare/staples @itsfi . Might have to peep that Solawave 👀 Breakouts after 19 should be illegal, honestly
lol, I would support that @danielledanielle. I lucked out in my teens and whatever acne issues I had were very minimal and almost non-existent but when my mid-30s rolled around, ack! Where did you come from?!! It's in better the last couple of years, with it being a major thorn in my side only during the bigger seasonal transitions, particularly summer-to-fall (so exactly when it's been/was happening of late). I suppose the "bright" side is that it gives me an opportunity to really put products to the test, lol. 😭😏
The Solawave is worth checking out. I liked the DDG face mask especially when I experienced more than one pimple and along different parts of my face, but the Solaware device gives me the option of doing some pinpoint zapping! 😀 It's similar to what I might be able to get done at a derm's office or through my aesthetician though at a less intense frequency. I like too that it's travel friendly and doesn't take all that long to use.
@itsfi I love the shade of the Merit liner! And a radiant sunscreen sounds nice - I feel like that would be a little added incentive to wear sunscreen if it provides a glow.
Thank you @PrettyPaint; I was very happily surprised by Merit Capricorn. Most of the Merit lip liners that I have wear similarly on my lips as they swatch on my hand (I included a swatch in one of my reply posts below ⤵️), but it seems like the two shades at the end of the ranges (Beverly Hills and Capricorn) are the ones that look differently on my lips, both in ways I like.
The INNBeauty sunscreen is nice; I'm kicking myelf for not having reached for it more often earlier on, but I'm using it now and have time to enjoy it without rushing before the expiration date. The glow on this is nice and when paired with a skin tint that gives a glow, it is very, very fresh faced dewy! I've been pairing it with the Tower 28 SunnyDays skin tint and sometimes I think it's too glowy that combo but a little powder to set and it's a good amount of glow for me. I'm planning on giving it a try with the MILK skin tint this weekend to see how that pairing works.
