Monthly Favorites: January 2026 Edition!

Monthly Faves: January 2026 EditionMonthly Faves: January 2026 Edition

At this point I suppose it’s too late to say “happy new year,” but I hope 2026 is treating you well so far, Community! I’m having a bit of a “new year, same me” situation, at least in terms of my beauty routine: still can’t stop buying lip balm, collecting blushes in every shade of the rainbow, and really putting to the test how long I can go without washing my hair. 🙈 I’m curious to hear if any of you have any beauty-related resolutions – I could use some inspo!

In the meantime, here are the products that have gotten the most mileage this year (so far, ha!):

Time to hear from you, Community! Use the reply button below to share your own favorite products for November. Be sure to tag any products you mention with the “#” symbol (hair, makeup, fragrance, wellness, skincare, etc.)!

Re: Monthly Favorites: January 2026 Edition!

Ooouh, you have some beauties here @AlexBT; I picked up a Patrick Ta balm in one of the deeper shades. I'm intrigued by your pick of Paula's Choice serum - I am a fan of glutathione and who am I to say "pass" to  brightening my mug and fading discoloration?!! 😉 How long have you been using it? Is it part of your AM and PM routine? Tell the deets on this fave of  your. 😍

Hope you are having a great 2026 - cheers to a "new year, same fabulous you!!"

Re: Monthly Favorites: January 2026 Edition!

@itsfi Ahhh love it! Thanks for sharing this thread 🙂

I'd say I've been using it for a month or so (only in the morning), but probably not as consistently as I should, so hard to attribute real noticeable results to it yet. I do like that it feels more of a moisturizer than other vit C serums that may be sticky-feeling or oily.

What do you think of the Patrick Ta balm? To me they feel similar to Summer Fridays balm, but a little thicker/waxier... Curious what the color payoff is like in the deeper shades!

Re: Monthly Favorites: January 2026 Edition!

I like the sound of that Paula's Choice vitamin C not being sticky @AlexBT. Here are some lip swatches of a deeper shade of the Patrick Ta balm. I picked up PATRICK TA Major Moisture Smoothing and Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm with Vitamin E Espresso - one, two and three layer compared to my bare lips.

  • Just one pump out of the dispenser - creamy but light, foamy
  • Spreads and lathers easily, without water
  • Suds up and disperses well with just the teensiest amout of water
