Monthly Favorites: January 2020 Edition!

Whew – one month down, eleven more to go in 2020, BIC! 😄 Now that we’re near the end of January, it’s time for us to share our favorite beauty products of the month. I know many of us are following beauty-related new year’s resolutions like finally finishing up a stash of products or going on beauty low-buys, so I’m extremely curious what products made it out on top for you this month. Whether it’s skincare, hair care, makeup, or fragrance, the Beauty Insider Community would love to know your favorites.

Here are my January favorites:

@bakeamuffin Do you use the CeraVe for your body only or your face too? My skin is pretty normal but my husband's is combo with some dry patches so I wondered if the CeraVe might help his dry skin. Thanks!

@ShortErica I slather it all over my face while it's still damp after cleaning

 This traps in as much hydration as possible and has really helped my skin barrier. I would use it on my body too, but I usually just use a basic unscented body lotion (aveeno baby fragrance free is my favorite body moisturizer).

I think the Cerave would be a good option for him, and maybe try out Aquaphor to help the dry patches heal faster, I find it in the wal mart or grocery store pharmacy section and it's available in a tube or a bigger tub. 🙂

If he needs a cleanser, give the Cerave Hydrating cleanser a try! Best of luck!

If only I could get him to use a cleanser @bakeamuffin! Getting him to apply lotion is a battle. I love the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser as my 2nd step in a double cleanse. Thanks for the info!

@bakeamuffin, you, @GG84 and @ather are making it hard for me to wait patiently for my Blume order to arrive. 🙂 It should be here sometime this week; keeping my fingers crossed that it arrives before I head out of town for work. 

Rose petal ice cream candle? Say no more, I'm sold! I'm imagining how beautiful that smells! <333

I love Blume!! We can’t tag Canadian exclusive items for some reason (think Morphe, MAC) yet product lines only available in the US we CAN tag lol 🤷🏻‍♀️
Have you tried any other Blume products?

Yes, I have! I've used Meltdown, Cloud 9, their Heat pack, and the Moonchild candle (which I don't think is available anymore). I love the Deo the most! Cloud 9 is a nice mood pick-up and helps a little bit with menstrual cramping, but overall I like it for the aromatherapy benefits.

I'm very curious about their new moisturizer but I'm having hard time stepping away from Lala and Cerave.

I am in love with Meltdown! I don’t care for Day Dreamer (face wash) but the real ⭐️ for me is Stargirl their Facial Mist. It has some kind of magical power I swear - it hydrates and gives a dewy finish but never looks greasy. I spray it over my makeup several times a day (the heat from my car zaps my skin of moisture) this stuff has saved my skin.

@bakeamuffin  I totally agree I’m in love with Hug me too!! Sephora use to have a set of the mini voluspa rose candles with that one in it.

it’s amazing!!! totally worth the $$$!! i spray it directly to my face & it’s so refreshing. makes your skin HELLA soft & really helps with brightening & making your pores smaller. the smell is really nice (& somehow fragrance free which is a bonus!) & lasts forever. i’m on my second bottle & my last bottle lasted me 11 months! i highly recommend!
