Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Feb Faves visual_022026.jpg

Hiya BIC, I hope that February has been good to you! I’m back with a pep in my step from my bday and Aquarius season to chat about all the goodies I gifted myself this month. 💞

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a red lip stan💄, and I’ve got a new duo to yap about. Finally got my hands on my first VIOLETTE_FR lip and let me tell you, I’m in love. 🥰 That paired with the MUFE extreme liner is a DREAM—no budging or smudging, it’s here to stay in more ways than one. I’ve also been shopping my stash as of late and brought back the YSL Libre EDP for when I want to add some decadence to my self-care routine. I highly recommend finding some little moments of joy for yourself as we trudge on through the last bits of winter, WE GOT THIS! 🤗

Here’s everything I’ve had on rotation this month:

What’s influencing your self-care and self-love this month BIC? I want to know your go-to products and what you’re including in your routines to keep that sparkle alive and well. Share with the “#” if you can so we can keep the convo going in the comments!

@KhyleyBT @Makeup For Ever is such a favourite!
February was a bit of a crazy month here where u wasn’t using as much product as normal but I still had a few items sneak into my heart!

IMG_2567.jpeg

The Virtue shampoo and conditioner were living in a travel bag unused and I’m working on clearing those out so I can start with fresh minis. I had no real expectations with these but they were so nice! I’m going to keep them on my list to purchase full sizes as soon as I’m running low. Great scent, great later. Hair felt soft and detangled easily.
The Pat McGrath lip liner was pulled as a part of my Black owned brands capsule. I actually had a few from her that I had not yet tried. It’s a bit softer than I usually prefer, but the shade is great for me and it wore really nicely. If you’re someone who needs to sharpen their liners every use this could be gone through really quickly but for me who likes a diffused line I thought it worked really nicely. I look forward to trying the others I have soon!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

I love that Virtue shampoo and conditioner, @missjeanie !! Great faves!!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Happy bday month, @KhyleyBT !! The Violette FR lip stains look so good!!

Spoiler
Winter can't be done soon enough for me

Few favorites for me this month:

  • Cosmic Beauty Winter Wonderland palette

From my palettes of shame pile and for the Shop Your Stash Challenge: Winter 2026 ❄️ challenge. I used this one for a full two weeks instead of another from my shame pile because I was having so much fun. It's so sparkly and perfect for the season.

I've been really liking this mist for the winter. It's super hydrating and a good spray (it almost feels texturally thicker than other mists). My only complaint is that it's a small bottle.

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@haleyvvvv   Those blues!!!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

It's one of the best blue palettes I've ever tried, @missjeanie !! They're such stunning shades!!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@haleyvvvv  I bet they make your pop like crazy!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Lovely favorites!! @KhyleyBT hope you had a great bday

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@KhyleyBT  happy belated birthday! 🎂 Love your monthly favorites - you can't beat a classic red lip, and YSL Libre is perfect for this time of year, too. And I love your reminder to find little moments of joy in every day - always great advice, especially in the long grey stretch of winter!

I've been trying some new and new-to-me beauty this month, and I've definitely found some new favorites!

20260225_234459-01.jpeg

This month's theme has been smelling good, keeping my skin hydrated and soothed, and thinking pink! Here are my favorites for February:

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Gloss Luminizer WATTABRAT - I couldn't possibly pass up a new limited edition shade of my favorite lip gloss, and I definitely wasn't disappointed! This shade is the prettiest pink, and loaded with lots of sparkle

Sorce Match Made in Heaven Extrait de Parfum travel spray - I've been on a matcha perfume kick lately, and this new-to-me addition to my collection is my favorite that I've tried. It's such a lovely scent, and I could see it being a full bottle purchase for me in the future.

Noyz Unmute Mylk de Parfum - continuing the theme of smelling good, I recently picked up one of Noyz's new perfume "mylks" in their Unmute scent. It's one of my favorite perfumes, so I was eager to try this new form. It's like a lightweight, milky and strongly scented lotion, and it smells just like the EDP. Perfect for layering, too!

Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum - lately, I've been loving this serum, which is packed with beneficial ingredients like PDRN, peptides, and niacinamide. It feels very soothing and hydrating, and leaves my skin dewy and plump.

Summer Fridays Sweet Pink Duo - I have far too many lip balms at the moment, but what was I going to do, *not* buy a limited edition duo of one of my favorite lip balm formulas? 😂 No regrets - Strawberry Soft Serve smells *just* like strawberry ice cream, and both it and Birthday Cake are hydrating, nourishing, and give my lips a pretty pink gloss.

Hope everyone is doing well, especially if you're like me and located somewhere that's been buried in snow lately!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@caitbird @Strawberry soft serve sounds so nice!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Oooh that Medicine PDRN serum looks good, @caitbird !! Great faves for the month, love the pink theme

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

happy late birthday girly!!!😊 what is that perfume? look’s fancy.

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Happy belated birthday @KhyleyBT! Those are some mighty fierce birthday beauties you picked up! 😍 Love those MUFE lip liners and I bet it and Violette Fr. En Feu look amaze on you!  A big "yes!!!" to moments of joy - wishing you many more moments of joy, big and small!

Like you, my faves this month are a mix of tried-and-true and new-to-me goodies.

Monthly Favorites: Feburary 2026Monthly Favorites: Feburary 2026

Danessa Myricks Beauty Mini Yummy Skin Liquid Blurring Balm Mattifying Setting Spray 1.7 oz/50 mL - lightweight, hydrating, demi-matte, airbrushed, stay in place long wearing. Keeps my face in place for those 10+, 12+ and 15+ hour days. 👍

DIOR Dior Forever Skin Correct Full-Coverage Concealer has been a mainstay in my collection for more years than I can remember. This is a slightly peachier shade than what I typically wear but it's giving me a color-corrector-and-concealer-in-one for those pesky post-acne dark spots.

Layering mascaras has never been something that's worked well for me ... until I happened upon DIOR Diorshow Overvolume Extreme Volume Mascara Overblack and CLIO Kill Lash Superproof Mascara 04 Extreme Volume. This dynamic duo has held up phenomenally under a myriad of climates and conditions. No raccoon or panda eyes for me, yes! 😚 Looking forward to trying the waterproof version of the mascara that Dior just released now.

I don't sheet mask as often a I use to but do appreciate how well they served my skin in the past, and I still enjoy using a sheet mask every now and again, including this Arencia Red Collagen Firming Sheet Mask - dewy, hydrated, bouncy skin in just half an hour with this  2-piece red-tinted hydrogel sheet mask. Love!!! ❤️ I saw that Sephora will be carrying Arencia 🙌 and will be keeping an eye out for this sheet mask. [ETA: just saw this will be available at Sephora on 3.2 - Arencia Red Collagen Pore-Tightening Jello Mask (4-Pack) with Red Collagen, Niacinamide, and Peptide... ]

Lightweight and milky, the SEPHORA COLLECTION Lift & Firm - Plumping Booster Serum with Bakuchiol 1.01 oz / 30 ml # leaves my skin hydrated and my complexion plump and smooth. I've already added a few of the other products in the line to my wish list.

I've had the OliviaUmma Glow Ceramide Liptox Napa Valley in and out of my purse for the last six months and am close to needing to another tube. It's such a great on-the-go lip balm - lightweight, nourishing, and glossy without being goopy, with a sheer but buildable berry tint. 💋 [ETA: Oliviaumma launching at Sephora 3.2, their lip balms will be available but I haven't seen this tint come up ... yet(?) 🤞]

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Amazing for finding mascara duo that works, @itsfi !! Great faves!!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@itsfi  love these faves! I love the Dior Overvolume mascara too - I think I have the Clio Kill Lash one (from last year's YesStyle advent calendar), but I haven't had the chance to try it yet. I hadn't thought of layering them, though - I'll have to try that! And your skincare picks - the SC serum, Arencia sheet mask and OliviaUmma lip balm - all sound phenomenal! I have so many serums, sheet masks, and lip balms right now 😅 but I'll definitely be adding these to my list to check out once I've made more of a dent in my current stash.

PS this is such a lovely and aesthetic picture, as well - I love it! You have a great photographic eye.

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

For the ends of my hair, I've been enjoying Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Frizz Reduction & Heat Protection Hair Oil

K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Molecular Repair Hair Oil 1 oz / 30 mL

JOSIE MARAN The Original 100% Pure Organic Moisturizing Argan Oil

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@greeneyedgirl107  great picks! I need to get into a hair oiling routine too, the ends of my hair need some TLC...I haven't tried the K18 hair oil, but I have some samples of the Olaplex, as well as some others. You are inspiring me to dig them out and give them another try!

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

Hair (really all) moisturizing routines are crucial in the winter, looks like you're staying on top of it with these faves @greeneyedgirl107! 🤩

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

@KhyleyBT I've been trying to get back into a hair oiling routine.

Re: Monthly Favorites: February 2026 Edition!

I looove the K18 and olaplex's oils too @greeneyedgirl107. If I religiously use K18 after every wash I notice a dramatic decline in my split ends. 👌

I usually try once a month to do some split end maintenance ✂️😉 and I love having less hidden in my lengths.

Try me more about the Argan Oil, what's it's benefit for your hair if I can ask?
