Monthly Faves: April 2025!

Hiya, BIC! I hope spring shopping szn has been treating you well. 🌷🛍 It’s been busy over here at Sephora HQ – but don’t worry, I’ve still found time to walk over to the closest Sephora store on my lunch break to swatch all the latest beauty goodies IRL. Me? Obsessed? Yes, yes I am.

Even with all the fun store newness and Sephora Savings Event hauls to keep me entertained here on the BIC and on social, I found myself reaching more for my existing collection this month – and my April faves reflect that! Hydrated, sun-shielded skin, a simple slick-back, and a fool-proof blush have been the keys to my low-maintenance spring look. (Don’t ask me why it still takes me so long to get ready, though).

Interesting EADEM product @PrettyPaint is it very hydrating? 😍

@Buootiful I find it to be very moisturizing for me. It also stays on my lips longer than other balms for whatever reason.

@Titian06 Oohh I too am in need of a new shampoo! But not sure I can commit to being a 2-wash girl. Has that been the culprit of my dry-feeling hair all along??? 😲

@AlexBT - Well, shampoos are so gentle, it may take two shampoos to get your hair clean.  Just a thought. 😁

Oh, I'm gonna need shampoo soon, are these really good? I love Burberry Her and have BURBERRY Her Elixir de Parfum with Dark Red Berries, Jasmine & Vanilla and the OG BURBERRY Mini Her Collection Perfume Trio  It sounds like it would smell delicious! 😍 @Titian06

@Buootiful - Honestly, I'm in love with the Fenty shampoo & conditioner.  I've been using them twice a week for the past four or five weeks.  Normally I rotate among my many S&Cs.  Aside from Verb, they're not bad enough to toss, but not good enough to use regularly. 

I will point out that if you are scent sensitive or averse to masculine-leaning scents, you may want to avoid.  The scent is pretty strong and masculine-leaning, though it doesn't linger.  I breathe through my mouth in the shower because my nose runs so badly so it doesn't bother me.  Plus I like the scent.
