Monthly Faves: April 2025!

Hiya, BIC! I hope spring shopping szn has been treating you well. 🌷🛍 It’s been busy over here at Sephora HQ – but don’t worry, I’ve still found time to walk over to the closest Sephora store on my lunch break to swatch all the latest beauty goodies IRL. Me? Obsessed? Yes, yes I am.

Even with all the fun store newness and Sephora Savings Event hauls to keep me entertained here on the BIC and on social, I found myself reaching more for my existing collection this month – and my April faves reflect that! Hydrated, sun-shielded skin, a simple slick-back, and a fool-proof blush have been the keys to my low-maintenance spring look. (Don’t ask me why it still takes me so long to get ready, though).

Here are some of my trusty April favorites:

Nice picks, @Mellmars1185 . I need to bust out my mini of the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 1.7 fl. oz/ 50 mL and start using it to get rid of the redness.

@Mellmars1185 I am OBSESSED with the Glossier perfumes. I own the pink and cream bottles... took all my strength not to pick up the lavender one at the savings event

Have you tried this version of the camo SPF before? Dr. Jart+ Cicapair ™ Tiger Grass Camo Drops Color Corrector SPF 35 1 oz / 30 mL I find it's just like a thinner version and easier to wear imo. You might like it. 😉

Next time your In-store maybe they could make you you a take home sample? @Mellmars1185 Not to enable you 🫣 but if you like the thicker version I do find this serum much easier to wear 😉

@caitbird Thank you! Doesn't it smell so fresh and lovely? I tend to get headaches from certain perfumes. This one doesn't give me a headache at all. It checks all the boxes to a favourite scent to me!

@caitbird Love these favorites! I haven't tried the Ceremonia leave-in, but I regularly use the Ceremonia Guava Rescue Hair Heat Protectant Spray 6.7 oz / 200 mL as a detangler.

@AlexBT  thank you so much! I absolutely love this leave-in conditioner, I have very long hair that tangles easily and this has been great for preventing breakage when I comb my hair post-shower. I guess the heat protectant spray serves a similar purpose for you!

Love that leave-in conditioner @caitbird. On the Zoologist Hummingbird, do you pick up more fruity or floral notes?

@itsfi  yes, that leave-in conditioner is magical, I love it! With Hummingbird, I would say it's more floral to me, but definitely a fruity floral. It makes me think of nectar-y flowers, if that makes sense.
