Hi Jen! I have fine hair but a lot of it. I recently got a lob but it looks like I have triangle head- lots of bulk at the ends. What should I be telling my hairstylist to get rid of the triangle & bulk?

Hi Jen! Love your products - in particular the texture spray. Just wondering if you have tips for everyday washers, who’s hair is fine and gets greasy fast!! (Lots of hair though) How can I combat this?!

@megcarolinex I definitely don't recommend washing every day as it can actually strip the good oil from your hair. If you find yourself getting oily really fast (before the day is over), I'd suggest our Oily Supplements as it fixes the problem at the root. And if you're just trying to prolong a wash, our Dry Shampoo Foam soaks up all the oil and gives you volume at the root so you can have Day 1 hair even on day 2, 3 and 4 🙂

@JennTorrez Hi Jenn! Thank you! My go-to's for a sleek blowout are- 1. OUAI Smooth Spray, 2. Dyson Supersonic with Smoothing Nozzle, 3. OUAI Hair Oil for mid-shaft to ends 4. OUAI Matte Pomade to tame flyaways at the roots

This may be a dumb question. When using a deep conditioner or mask, should I shampoo, condition and then deep condition/mask or skip the regular conditioner and shampoo and go straight to the deep conditioner/mask?

@cinnamonstix you can actually do it either way. I use my OUAI Treatment Masque on dry, dirty hair. I like to leave it on while I clean, or go to a workout class. The heat will activate it even more and get strands super soft. Then i shampoo and condition in the shower. BUT- it also works the way you said as well. You can do it as your final step in the shower. It's more of a schedule preference.

@chellie123 Use OUAI Repair Shampoo and Conditioner to keep color treated hair nourished. Also, doing weekly OUAI Treatment Masques will keep hair super shiny.

I’m currently using the Repair line shampoo and conditioner. Can I use that system indefinitely or is the idea to move to a system for maintenance? Thx

@krisb You can use it indefinitely but don't be afraid to mix and match depending on your hair needs and goals. If you need a gentle detox, our Clean Shampoo is a super gentle clarifier and if you're trying to fight frizz in the summer our Smooth line is perfect for that.

What's the best hair style/cut for a heart-shaped face?

@eedn try curtain bangs! short in the middle and longer on the sides. You can do medium to long length, but this will frame your face shape in a great way.

What's the best way to get lasting volume at the root? I have a messy, textured lob that's naturally wavy.

@breannapaigew OUAI Soft Mousse! People are scared of mousse because they think it's crunchy. Ours is so soft and weightless. For touchups in between washes, hit the roots with OUAI Texturizing Spray and shake upside down.
