Hi Dr. Murad, I am allergic to glycerin. Are there any skin or hair products you might suggest? I try to be careful but I find it very difficult for a liquid product not to contain glycerin. The allergy cause breakouts and irritation on my skin and if ingested it causes a burning sensation in my mouth. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Nicole

Hi Dr.Murad! I am 33 who gets acne and red patches around the chin area during menstruation, what products would you recommend to help ease the redness and stop the acne?? -- my face is oily but during the winter gets very dry. thank you for your time!!

Hi Dr. M! I usually don't have much of a problem with pimples but do have blackheads that never go away. I find my t-zone oily but also tend to see flaky skin there. while my t-zone can take a beating, my cheeks seem to be thinned skinned and generally normal to dry. How can I get rid of these stubborn blackheads that I've had for years and keep them gone while keeping in mind I have combination skin?

Dr.Muard, I'm 23 years old with normal to combination skin type. I'm constantly fighting acne on my chin & cheek area followed by hyperpigmentation. I wash my face twice a day morning and night with a gentle cleanser and I use tea tree oil as a spot treatment. With all my efforts I'm still getting acne. What products do you recommend that might clear up my acne & brighten my hyperpigmentation? Side note my skin is very sensitive and I cannot use Murad acne wash I break out in hives. -Angela Sanchez

i have prettt bad acne that often hurts and im allergic to benzoyl peroxide but salicylic acid isnt doing much. i have combo skin. any ideas on how to help?

@nymeria123 what hair products are you using? Given your acne is only on your forehead, I wonder if this could be caused by your hair products. Make sure you aren't using any pomades. Try our Pure Skin Supplement it helps with acne internally.

Hi Honeycomelate! I'm a former road warrior/frequent flyer. This is what a Delta flight attendant told me years ago: 1) Always drink a lot of water. More than you usually drink. It's crazy but she swore by it. 2) Skip coffee/tea/sodas & alcohol when you're in the air. They are/act like diuretics and will cause you to retain water. 3) If you're not allergic/sensitive, and you need a "pick me up"/energy boost, drink tomato juice. 4) She swore by Neutrogena for drugstore/affordable skincare. Hi Dr. Murad, any suggestions for getting rid of milia on the chin? I exfoliate twice a week, use a vitamin c serum daily and your retinol youth serum nightly. I rotate between moisturizers. Thank you! By the way, I’ve tried several retinol serums that irritated my skin before falling in love with yours! It doesn’t irritate my skin and has really helped my fine lines and wrinkles on my forehead!
