#Lipstories launched on the Sephora app TODAY!! What is #Lipstories you might ask? Well, only the newest lipstick launch from Sephora Collection. There is a total of 40 shades that come in either cream, metallic, or matte finishes! Now you can switch up your lip look whether you are going to a cool music festival, a brunch date with your BFFs, or just spending time with bae. And did I mention these are only $8?!

These will be available online tomorrow Wednesday, December 13th  and in stores on Tuesday, December 26th!

@KatieBT and I swatched four shades with a holiday theme and tried out our favorite shades of the four. These lipsticks are so creamy and apply evenly! Check out our swatches and looks below 😉

 

What's great about Sephora Collection's #Lipstories is the beautiful, fun and even nostalgic packaging! With these #Lipstories, we want open up the conversation for all of YOU to celebrate you and whatever your #Lipstories are. A bubble gum pink lippie from the trip of a lifetime? 12/14 UPDATE: Today we have swatches of a summery, bright collection inspired by warm weather and days at the pool! From top to bottom you have Celebrate, Hot in Havana, Coconut Grove and Popsicle Lips. Of course, I had to try the metallic shade 😉  -@KatieBT

Ok here are swatches of Hong Kong by Night, Coconut Grove and Desert Trip!

Edit: added lip swatches in same order!

Edit #2 some thoughts: these Metallics are glitter metallics...so you can feel the glitter as you apply. Not an issue for me but may be for some. They’re almost drier in texture and Coconut Grove took building up to actually show up BUT my lips are very pigmented. Hong Kong by Night was also glittery feeling but applied opaque in one layer. 

Desert Trip is very creamy and this is a lipstick I’d blot before heading out, otherwise it may get everywhere. It leaves behind a Very noticeable stain! My lips are still purple pink after removing with Clinique TTDO so even though it’s a cream and may not last long, the stain probably will.

I got my first #Lipstories lipstick today! This is #25 First Class, a stunning saturated coral orange-red. The pigmentation and formula are amazing! It’s so creamy and so opaque, hard to believe it’s a $10 CAD/$8 US lipstick. More thoughts to come once I’ve actually worn this. P. S. It’s now the closest lipstick I have to Maybelline Austyn from the Gigi Hadid Collection, though Austyn is not as saturated. Just in case anyone else was loooking for Austyn all over like I was and missed out!
