#Lipstories launched on the Sephora app TODAY!! What is #Lipstories you might ask? Well, only the newest lipstick launch from Sephora Collection. There is a total of 40 shades that come in either cream, metallic, or matte finishes! Now you can switch up your lip look whether you are going to a cool music festival, a brunch date with your BFFs, or just spending time with bae. And did I mention these are only $8?!

These will be available online tomorrow Wednesday, December 13th  and in stores on Tuesday, December 26th!

@KatieBT and I swatched four shades with a holiday theme and tried out our favorite shades of the four. These lipsticks are so creamy and apply evenly! Check out our swatches and looks below 😉

 

What's great about Sephora Collection's #Lipstories is the beautiful, fun and even nostalgic packaging! 12/14 UPDATE: Today we have swatches of a summery, bright collection inspired by warm weather and days at the pool! From top to bottom you have Celebrate, Hot in Havana, Coconut Grove and Popsicle Lips. Of course, I had to try the metallic shade 😉  -@KatieBT

A humorous story comes to mind.  One of the very first Chanel lipsticks that I purchased, I believe, was the Rouge Coco shade Mademoiselle.  There I was, feeling fancy while wearing this French beauty, as if I myself was riding in a limo (a Chevy) to the Eiffel Tower (Moe's Southwest Grill.)

My husband took his eyes off of the road long enough to look at my lips and ask me, "Are you having trouble breathing? (I'm asthmatic.)  Your lips are gray!"

My nearly $40 lipstick had turned on me, leaving me to look as if I were beginning to turn into a corpse.

That’s like when I bought my most expensive perfume (at the time) which was Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy, and wore it for the first time. My husband, who NEVER notices perfume unless he deems it “old lady smell” says, ooh, you smell nice. And I was like, cha-ching, a winner, I can’t believe it! And he goes on to say, “that smells like something... it smells like... (long pause)... lemon pledge!”  Ugh.

Awwww - That is too bad!!!! Mademoiselle is one of my favorite colors!  Maybe it was the shimmer effect that turned gray?  😞   Cute story, though, @Ispend2much6!!!! ❤️

@Tamara76  It's my coloring.  Mauves usually don't work for me.  They turn gray; roses turn coral, and reds turn fuchsia.  I'm learning to work around it though.

I think the chocolate chip cookie shade of the Lipstories will work great though!

EDIT:  Oh, look at the newest set of swatches, the third set- that's where I'll be.

I ordered Desert Trip this morning for the sole reason that the packaging is soooo cute.  Can't wait to get more!

The packaging is so cute and the names are so clever! Plus $8 is such a steal! Can't wait to try the cream and matte ones but I wouldn't be surprised if I start hoarding them just for the packaging.

I saw this on my app yesterday and bought some immediately! I bought festival nights, Hong Kong by night and oui! Then I got a message last night saying they were shipped! Can’t wait to try these out for sure!
