Hi everyone, I’ve actually been a member here for about two weeks but I’m only getting around to properly introducing myself today. I work as a Cosmetic Regulatory Consultant, focusing on product safety assessments and compliance, and in my experience, understanding how skin responds over repeated use helps more than focusing only on first impressions. I’m looking forward to learning from your routines and sharing what I’ve observed too.

@lmkeller4u @As a kid I did track and field, swimming and tennis. In high school badminton. Now just Pilates as I got older which isn’t a sport.

@SportyGirly125 Wow, you have a lot of experience in sports. Why did you stop after your school days?
I’ve heard people do Pilates to stay flexibe, hope it’s working pretty well for you.

@lmkeller4u Thank you. I stopped doing sports after high school because I didn’t have time to really enjoy it. I was working part time and going to college full time. 

I got certified in advanced therapeutic Pilates in 2024.

Ah, that's an interesting position.  When I think of QA, beauty/skincare make perfect sense, but it's not the first thing that comes to mind.  What would be your skincare splurge or main ingredient as far as performance for a winter routine (dryness, but spf)?

From what i've seen reviewing formulas and also using them myself, winter routines benefit a lot from barrier supporting ingredients like ceramides and glycerin paired with a sunscreen that users film forming agents so it stays evenly distributed even when skin is dry. I tend to focus less on the price point and more on whether the formula maintains hydration and protection together, because that combination helps reduce the tight feeling and keeps skin looking more balanced through the day.

Hey all, I'm Onna (like Donna but without the D). I kinda took a step back from makeup and beauty early last year but you wouldn't know it looking at all my stuff lol. I'm back tho I'm totally looking to learn from everyone. If I could splurge on something I'd go for that pretty new Valentino perfume coming out at the end of this month. It sounds amazing and the bottle is gorge. I love purple too so that is a total draw. 💜

Oh, the notes in that Valentino Donna Born In Roma Purple Melancholia Eau de Parfum do sound pretty amazing @ohlonna. I've enjoyed the other fragrances in the Born In Roma line and the new one sounds like a great addition. Welcome to BIC!

IKR? I don't have a lot of scents with plum or osthmanthus in it and none that have both together. Is there a perfume in the line that you really like? @itsfi
