I’m Georgina, Sephora’s new intern for the best group of beauty lovers – the Beauty Insider Community! In addition to my superhero team members @KatieBT, @BrendaBT, @LexBT, and @CarolBT, you’ll be seeing a lot of me, so I thought I’d give myself a formal introduction.

Crazy enough, I first joined the BIC when I was 13 years old. I was so excited to receive a fragrance from Sephora for my birthday that year, and I immediately signed up to post a review. After almost a decade of lurking on this community, here I am! I’m excited to get to know you all personally and discuss all things beauty...

So let’s jump right into it! I’ll start: As a college student, there’s nothing I enjoy more than hitting “snooze” on my alarm before my 8am classes. Nevertheless, I’ve gotten into the habit of setting aside time for a morning beauty routine – even if it’s just 5 minutes. I find that this helps me feel prepared to take on whatever I have planned for the day! When I’m in a rush, I reach for a few specific products:

I'm almost out of my current liner (tarte sex kitten eye definer liquid eyeliner Black) and while I loved it, maybe I'll give the Sephora Collection Liquid Liner a try next to switch things up! I’m full Filipino as well, @GeorginaBT! First generation born here. I’ve never been back and my parents never taught me Tagalog, but I can cook alllll the food. Lol. That’s all my kids care about. I promised them I’d take them to the Philippines next summer. We can explore our homeland for the first time together. ❤️

I do nothing in five minutes so I can’t even pretend to try. If I put my makeup out on my vanity the night before, then maybe. I value my sleep so much that sometimes I’m caught without anything. Along with my outfit for the next day, I totally lay out my makeup the night before! I can definitely use all the extra time I can get in the morning. And hey, love seeing a fellow KVD Everlasting Lipstick user! Do you have a favorite shade? I typically go for Lolita, but reach for Vampira when I'm going for a bold look. Lolita is awesome! I also like Underage Red, Malice, Daydream, and a host of other colors. I have quite a few of these. They’re my favorites along with Fenty’s Mattemoiselles.

If I only have 5 minutes I would probably use these products (in order of priority):

-Brows - I'm obsessed with brows and would pick either a pencil or a tinted gel. I've been on a tinted gel phase and love the ones that add texture and volume. I love milk, CT and Glossier brow gels, but CT is the best IMO because of the brush and the tube suction lets out the perfect amount of product.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Legendary Brows Eyebrow Gel

-Concealer - I'm having a concealer crisis right now (so dramatic lol), I have over 15 and I'm still searching for the perfect one. 

-BB Cream or Foundation - I'm really enjoying the Kosas tinted face oil and the Boscia bb cream.

-Blush - If it's a powder product it will very likely be CT in Love Glow. If cream/liquid Milk in Werk or Glossier in Puff.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Cheek To Chic Blush - Love Glow MILK MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek - Werk

-Mascara - I use latisse and have a lot o lashes that are very long, so almost any mascara works for me (unless it smudges and it's hard to remove). I always use a mascara primer, since I scratch my eyes very often and that helps with flaking. The Dior one is my favorite, but I received the Lancome one as a gift and though it's not as great, it still helps with flaking.

I'm going to follow your blush recommendation and check out Milk's Lip + Cheek. @KatieBT introduced me to MILK MAKEUP - Holographic Stick and I am HOOKED! Excited to explore the rest of the brand. You don't want to know how much time I spend doing my makeup every morning haha 🙈 Its the first thing I do, so it helps me slowly wake up. When I do accidentally forget to set an alarm though, I usually tend to swipe on a Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow (usually a duochrome or glittery shade bc it looks like I put effort in 😉 ), then I apply stila Stay All Day® Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Intense Blackl'Oreal's Lash Paradise mascara, ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS - DIPBROW® Gel,and if I have time, I apply lipstick. KAT VON D - Studded Kiss Crème Lipstickin Hexagram is one of my faves 🙂

And no shame at all on taking your time with your routine. Confession: I set aside hours to get ready on the weekend (LOL)! I really want to try the Anastasia Dipbrow, but feel like I would take forever perfecting the application; I really just need more practice on my part. I should give it a try and save it for a day when I have the luxury of taking my time. 🙂 Thanks for the recommendations!

If I only had 5 mins for makeup, I’d only be able to curl my lashes and apply mascara 😂 no joke, I’m really not too fast with my makeup routine!

Hey, I'd say a lash curl and mascara are pretty crucial parts of my makeup routine, so I get it. And oooh, haven't tried that Clinique mascara! Interesting though, because length is my #1 priority when it comes to my lashes. Looks like I gotta give it a try! Thanks for the recommendation. 🙂
