Happy Holidays, BIC! 🤍❄ We’re sending select members a token of our appreciation for their participation in the Beauty Insider Community all year round, and this thread is a place for recipients to share their unboxings! 🤗 It warmed our hearts to see how much you loved last year’s epic Community Faves-themed countdown, so this year we’re sticking with a similar format, while putting a new spin on the unboxing festivities…. with 10 Days of Trending Picks from Team BIC!

You may recognize some of these products being buzzed-about on social, or in rotation on our Trending at Sephora page. 🤳🔥 They may not be official Community Favorites just yet, but if you love what you try, you could very well skyrocket them into Sephora.com greatness by tagging them in your Forum posts or future Gallery looks! 🤩 

Similar to last year, recipients will have 10 Sephora products to unveil across 10 days … but you’re welcome to open on your own schedule (we won’t judge)! Though packages may arrive on varying schedules, they should all land before mid-December. While you’re free to begin unboxing your gratis as you wish when you receive it, we are challenging you to post photos and share your thoughts on each of the products according to the schedule below so we can all experience the magic together (starting with the gift labeled “Day 1”)! You can absolutely post product photos and reactions earlier if you like – we might just suggest hiding them behind a spoiler tab to make it easier for other recipients to avoid any unwanted sneak peeks at the surprises in future days ahead!

@CynthieLu Thank you. That's a good idea to ask NuFACE. I imagine there are a bunch of people out there that use it without reading the full instructions, so hopefully it's just a precautionary statement.

That is a good point @PrettyPaint if you find out please let us know. If it is does turn out to be more serious, I would hope they would consider making the warning much more prominent.

@PrettyPaint  Ohhh that’s mildly concerning.  I wonder if it’s due to proximity of the electrical stimulation to the brain or eyes (since it’s to be used on the face) or whether it’s a warning given using an over abundance of caution so they’re no held liable for anything than may happen.   
I would think that you’d want to consult your neurologist for a thumbs up before using something that has the potential of triggering a seizure.  They’d know best as to whether it’s a blanket warning or if there is an actual risk to certain individuals.

@heartsmyface Thanks! Yes, that's probably a good idea to speak to a neurologist. I'm not sure how much they would know about these devices, but probably best to be cautious. There are warnings on things like movies, video games, etc. for potentially triggering seizures, though, so hopefully it's just an over abundance of caution. I'm thinking I may start out closer to the jaw area away from my eyes at first.

@PrettyPaint - The electrical current used in microcurrent facials may trigger seizures in individuals with epilepsy or a history of seizures.  I've been checking around Google for awhile, but have yet to find anything (positive or negative) by an actual user (not even on Reddit).  Although I had Bell's Palsey and not a seizure or epilepsy, I'm concerned about using microcurrent.

Thank you @Titian06. Yes, I am actually surprised about the lack of commentary/feedback about using microcurrent devices among people with a history of seizures. I found a couple of people asking about it on epilepsy forums, but nobody really seemed to have an answer or much experience to report. That's a good point about using microcurrent devices with history of Bell's palsy (and I'm sorry you had to go through that). I'm certainly not familiar about the research here. I quickly googled it and found some clinical studies about electrical simulation and facial paralysis, but it seems like the research is pretty mixed (with some studies reporting benefits and others reporting potential areas of caution). It looks like NuFace actually has some Instagram reels about using microcurrent to treat it, interestingly enough.

@PrettyPaint Also in the US and no on the candle. I think I was able to pull it up once but that was it.

@Samtian @PrettyPaint   Off topic but the funniest thing happened the other day.  I turned on the sauna and walked away waiting for it to heat up. The whole house started smelling  like By The Fireplace.  I was absolutely convinced someone in the house was burning my candle!  Nope.  One of my son’s friends spilled a drink on the rocks on New Years and it somehow created that exact scent as it burned off!  Not a bad scent to have throughout the house but also, we now have a no food or beverage policy in the sauna.

I'm really enjoying wearing Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Lip Balm Thrill 🎀🥰

It really has a nice wash of color. This is just one layer, but you can build it up pretty easily imo.

I am really liking the hydrating feeling and the color of this formula. 👌 I misplaced it for about a week ( eeep! I was so bummed) but I found it, thankfully and it's going to stay in my purse for the next foreseeable little bit.

It looks pretty on you, @CynthieLu! It’s actually not my color, it doesn’t look that great on me but I’m naturally very warm toned. I’m going to try it with a cooler toned blush.
