Happy Holidays, BIC! 🤍❄ We’re sending select members a token of our appreciation for their participation in the Beauty Insider Community all year round, and this thread is a place for recipients to share their unboxings! 🤗 It warmed our hearts to see how much you loved last year’s epic Community Faves-themed countdown, so this year we’re sticking with a similar format, while putting a new spin on the unboxing festivities…. with 10 Days of Trending Picks from Team BIC!

You may recognize some of these products being buzzed-about on social, or in rotation on our Trending at Sephora page. 🤳🔥 They may not be official Community Favorites just yet, but if you love what you try, you could very well skyrocket them into Sephora.com greatness by tagging them in your Forum posts or future Gallery looks! 🤩 

Similar to last year, recipients will have 10 Sephora products to unveil across 10 days … but you’re welcome to open on your own schedule (we won’t judge)! Though packages may arrive on varying schedules, they should all land before mid-December. While you’re free to begin unboxing your gratis as you wish when you receive it, we are challenging you to post photos and share your thoughts on each of the products according to the schedule below so we can all experience the magic together (starting with the gift labeled “Day 1”)! You can absolutely post product photos and reactions earlier if you like – we might just suggest hiding them behind a spoiler tab to make it easier for other recipients to avoid any unwanted sneak peeks at the surprises in future days ahead!

Can you believe it? It's been a month of Nuface already!?  💆‍♀️💝 

 

I'm not new to this device, I had the older model of the Mini... but I had fallen out of habit of picking it up and using it. I noticed pretty quickly the new Nuface mini was much lighter and fit easier in my hand. It has a soothing gentle humm when it's turned on that my old model did not. It made me wonder if my old model has out lived itself, or did it ever humm in the first place? 🤔

I used this device 5 days a week for 3-4 weeks and I feel like I can see a  small difference when I look in the mirror. 

I had watched some of the Video's on the app and picked the 13 minute routine. It was sooo relaxing to end my day with this calming massage.  🕊️ 

I would wash my face and use the activator gel and away I went. I felt the biggest benefit in my eyebrow area, I loved getting a tiny boost in that space. 

 

Now I did see a difference in the mirror but nothing crazy drastic, and not hugely noticeable on camera.

Thank you so much @TeamBIC for an amazing holiday of treats and surprises. I'm so grateful to you for being so spoiled this year. I hope each of you got some treats to try too. Maybe you Nufaced along with us?

I do @PrettyPaint I find this a nice little way to end the day. I kind of struggle fitting things in the a.m but evenings I can do. 😄

@CynthieLu Thank you for sharing! I am so happy you are noticing an improvement. It is so nice to create self care routines. I did try this out a few times this week. I have to say I didn't find it very relaxing. Did you feel a zinging feeling when using it?

@Mellmars1185 It might be too strong a setting for you at the moment or you didn’t apply enough gel. I got that feeling before too.

Humm, If you use the activator gel on freshly clean skin you shouldn't feel that zing. What's your routine around using this device if I can ask? @Mellmars1185 

After I wash my face,  I apply my activator and go. 👌 I actually just mist face with water during my nuface session to keep my activator gel from drying out and that way I can really make it last too. 😅

@CynthieLu I cleansed my face and put on the activator and followed the videos on the app for the cheek, neck and jawline. I didn't t read @PrettyPaint s comments about the seizures so I may do some more research before trying it again.

@Mellmars1185 - I haven't used the device yet.  From what I read and videos I watched,  you may not have used enough gel or you may have been pressing to hard.

( Just to note, The device has 3 intensity settings if it's to Zingy, you can even lower it to the lowest setting. )

Two random questions related to this thread....

Has anyone been able to review the By the Fireplace Candle?
Maison Margiela 'REPLICA' By The Fireplace Scented Candle 5.8 oz/ 165 g 

I can tag it, but for some reason I'm unable to click on it. I'm in the US, so I'm not sure if the availability varies by country. 

And for the extra random question...

I happened to notice that the NuFACE device instructions say not to use it if you have ever had a seizure. I'm sure this is a disclaimer on all microcurrent devices and would make sense to include a warning for people with abnormal brain electrical activity. I'm not asking for medical advice, but just whether anyone has any opinions or anecdotal evidence related to this. 💜

@PrettyPaint, I'm having the same issue with pulling up the product page for the candle. It seems to have disappeared. Not sure whether it's been/being repackaged/reformulated/discontinued. @TeamBIC, any ideas on how we might go about pulling up the product for review (or purchase? Or both. 😉)? THis is what appears when I try to open the product page by clicking on the tag in PrettyPaint's post above -

@PrettyPaint I reviewed it on Friday but when I check my profile it doesn't show the review. I think it can take up to 72 hours to show up? It is funny though..another item I review the same day showed up on Friday. I will let you know if I have any success with it.

I don't know @PrettyPaint hum... that's a question I would think you could ask to a doctor and Nuface directly? I would be interested to hear what they say. 🧐🔎
