Reporting straight from the red carpet…. or the couch, let’s be real!

I’ve always been a huge fan of awards shows -- watching with my mom growing up and now throwing my own parties at my own apartment (strict dress code: pajama-glam) -- and now I think it’s about time the Beauty Insider Community had its own red carpet rundown!

[[Update 2/7]] In case you missed it, it’s Hollywood's biggest night this weekend, which means we’ve officially hit PEAK awards season! So feel free to use this thread to jump on early to share your trend predictions, or right before the show (prime red carpet time, duh!), during the main event (to discuss stage lewks, winner reactions, etc.), or ANYTIME after (sometimes the best part is just scouring all the Best Dressed lists after-the-fact) to dish all things red carpet. Share your favorite red carpet beauty looks (and bonus points if you actually try recreating them at home 😊), show off your own “pajama-glam,” or just stop by to tell us how your favorite actor/actress got robbed from their win. It’s all fair game!

I did a red carpet makeup look earlier and now getting a tea while watching the Grammys.  My dogs giant head is blocking my Sephora socks.  Here is some Boujee PMG and lots and lots of glow.  

Even added falsies and lots of shimmer and glossGlowingSocks, sweats, dog sleeping, Grammys on

Sad that Taylor Swift won't be attending... even though she has 3 nominations! But, looking forward to seeing Michelle Obama, JLo, Cardi B, and Lady Gaga's ensembles this year.

I’ll probably catch most of it @AlexBT ❤️ I’ve seen Rival Sons (rock category) many times in concert. Lizzo has such a fun fashion and her makeup is beautiful.  So many, I loved the golden globes and caught some of the SAG fashion.  I love the green Charlize Theron recently wore, the soft blue of Renee Zellweger, Zoe Kravitz.  Glenn Close her makeup and dress we’re beautiful.  Puffy sleeves I really don’t like lol.  I noticed a lot of blotted lip looks.  Wondering what Gwen Stefani will wear and her makeup is so beautiful.  Aquafina (sp?) her makeup at the golden globes was wonderful.  Everyone had amazing highlighter, I noticed that. JLo has Scott Barnes do her killer makeup.  Hmmm I’d love doing glam looks just to stay home lol, that’s a Sunday guilty pleasure.  My family thinks I’m weird to even bother with makeup if I stay home.  I predict more blotted lips and highlighter.  Sadly probably less eyeshadow but liner and lashes.  Some colour with dresses like pink, orange, yellow and green.  More blue and red.

@AlexBT  I'm never able to catch the actual show, but I love scrolling through pictures of all the celebrities all glammed up! I also like catching up on the performances the next day, and reading about all the gossip from the night! There's always some drama, and I love it haha
