Weekly Wow 8/2!

Happy Tuesday! It’s the last day of July which means one more month of summer *cries one dramatic teardrop*. But not to worry, we have some great deals happening this week to last you through the rest of your summer activities. Keep reading to find out which Weekly WOW’s are arriving to the US and Canada starting Thursday, 8/2. Psssst…Insane Algenist deals below for the US and Canada so be sure to read to the bottom!

Stila Glitter & Glow Highlighter.jpg

@KatieBT wearing "Painted Lady"@KatieBT wearing "Painted Lady"Stila Glitter & Glow Highlighter $30 $16 (US only)

Que the effects, sparkle effects that is! The Stila Glitter & Glow Highlighter stole the show this past weekend as @KatieBT and I both glittered throughout the day and night. Majority of the people I encountered had so many positive things to say about the product and I couldn’t agree with them more or take all the credit. This product is truly dazzling! This liquid glitter highlighter can be used for your eyes or as highlighter, giving a multidimensional, sparkly effect. The complexion-enhancing formula contains a multicolor mix of pearls and visible glitter that lets the skin glow day or night. I used the shade “Painted Lady” on my lids one day and applied it to the inner corner of my eyes another. It created a dazzling, light-catching illuminating effect that gave my eyes a unique pop that I love! I also enjoyed that each shade has a pigmented color to help magnify the glow, giving you a sparkly, but bold look.

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Lipstick $19 $9.50 (US only)

Who doesn’t love a comfortable lippie?! Well, Bare Minerals has got you covered. Their collection of full coverage lipsticks are comprised of nude to bold shades. When I applied the lipstick it felt velvety, gliding on without any pull. I only needed 2-3 strokes to create a pigmented look. It wasn’t long after that I felt the hydrating and moisturizing ingredients start to nurture and comfort to my dry lips.

Clarisonic Mia 2.PNG

Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleaning System $169 $119 (US only)

@KatieBT got to try this product and here’s what she had to say “I used to love my Clarisonic Pro but started using cognac sponges and then just my hands. Eventually I felt that using my Clarisonic was so abrasive compared to zero tools and I lost the cradle charger..oops! I had never tried the Mia - seemed like it wouldn’t be effective since I would always go to the highest level of intensity with my Pro. My acne has been out of control and I truly feel like the deeper clean has been helping my skin calm down whereas I thought it may spread bacteria (sorry, gross). I will (reluctantly) give the Mia back but I  need to find a cradle charger ASAP to start using my Clarisonic again. Can’t wait to see if this helps my skin texture long-term since my acne was pretty nonexistent when I used my Clarisonic daily. I will definitely stick to a lower level after using the Mia. Easy does it.

Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizing Enriched.PNG

Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizer $169 $119 (US only)

We weren’t able to test this product for as long as we wanted, but what we can say about the Shiseido Ibuki is it’s a comfortable cream great for skin roughness with an instantly smoothing and moisturizing effect. This won’t leave your skin greasy or sticky making it a perfect base before makeup application.

Smashbox Studio Foundation Stick.PNG

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation Stick $48 $24 (Canada only)

This all-in-one stick provides both coverage and sculpting wherever you need it. The double ended foundation stick gives you medium, buildable coverage that’s easy to blend. Each end gives you lasting coverage that will not settle into pores or fine lines while leaving you with a natural-looking finish.

The US and Canada will receive the following:

Algenist Power Night Pressed Serum.PNG

Algenist POWER Recharging Night Pressed Serum $95 $47.50 (US) $114 $57 (Canada)

This product is a highly concentrated solid serum that claims to regenerate, smooth, and recharge in as little as 10 days.@AlexaBT LOVED this product and she had some awesome feedback to give us. Here’s her review: “The texture reminded me of coconut oil but didn’t leave me feeling sticky. I didn’t have to use much of the product and applied to face and neck. I can honestly say that I did FEEL a difference in my skin after only three days of use. It was soft, less puffy, and my makeup went on very smoothly which led to less makeup getting caught in my unforgiving eye creases.” Long story short, she will be purchasing this first thing Thursday morning!

Algenist Moisturizer.PNG

Algenist POWER Wrinkle Fighter Moisturizer $85 $42.50 (US) $108 $54 (Canada)

This small, but mighty bottle has got all you need in a wrinkle fighter moisturizer. It is an advanced anti-aging serum formulated with the patented ingredient, Alguronic Acid, along with Peptide 3D Complex to address the first signs of aging. @AlexaBT also got to test this out. She said it had “luxurious texture, though a bit thick to layer under makeup but just right for weekend self-care.”

Algenist Power Advanced Eye Serum.PNG

POWER Wrinkle Fighter 360° Eye Serum $70 $35 (US) $90 $45 (Canada)

This product is an advanced ant-aging eye serum formulated with alguronic acid and algaprotein to address the first signs of aging. @VivianBT loved the lightweight and non-sticky texture. Her skin absorbed the formula quickly so this may be good for those who want a quick and easy skincare routine.

POWER Advanced Wrinkle Fighter Serum $90 $45 (US) $108 $54 (Canada)

This is an advanced anti-aging serum also formulated with the patented ingredient, Alguronic Acid, along with Peptide 3D Complex to address the first signs of aging. @VivianBT tried this as well and liked the silky texture. She mentioned that it’s thick enough to distribute well over her face, isn’t stick and sinks in really fast. Vivian couldn’t put her finger on the exact scent of the product, but said is smells like it’s effective:)

But what lipstick are you wearing???!

RE: Weekly Wow 8/2!

When will Canada get the interesting Weekly Wows? We’re still getting the short end of the stick!

It's funny because I secretly wish we had the Smashbox st...

It's funny because I secretly wish we had the Smashbox stick foundation available in the US. It would be nice to have the same products available in both countries.

RE: Weekly Wow 8/2!

Seriously.. its not surprising anymore but still sucks and so transparent.

Re: Weekly Wow 8/2!

The only shiseido ibuki moisturizer I can find is $45. Am I missing something?

RE: Weekly Wow 8/2!

Nice to see Canada excluded from the fun deals again lol, I just want to give you my money Sephora!Hoping we magically get included for the stila and bare minerals sale since we got the “US only” abh deal anyway!

Re: RE: Weekly Wow 8/2!

Which US only one u wanna trade for the Smashbox stick? 😭😭😭😭

Re: Weekly Wow 8/2!

@TayBT Excited about the BareMinerals Gen Nude lippies, but can you please clarify which formula? Matte, Patent, or both? I’m assuming it’s the liquid variety since those are the only for $19 in the Gen Nude line.

Re: Weekly Wow 8/2!

Looks like it’s JUST the NUDE MATTE shades. Patent or Statement Matte shades are not included. I’d have loved to pick up another Patent shade since I actually like the formula a lot but oh well!

ETA: @TayBT The shade you’re wearing in the photo above, VIP, is in fact NOT included in the discounted shades, which I believe it is part of their Statement collection. Will those shades eventually be included as well?

Re: Weekly Wow 8/2!

Update! All Matte shades are included!
