Contour & Highlight Class

Hello! Should we bring our own make-up to the class that applies to contouring and highlighting? Thank you 💋

They will provide everything (disposable or cleaned beforehand), so classes are a good chance to try out products you wouldn't normally use... the alcohol sprays and whatnot are right at the stations so if you grab a different tester from the floor you can sanitize it before trying.

I do always bring my own eyeliner and mascara though, especially now when it's flu season.

You definitely don’t have to but for a lot of the classes makeup is taken from the shelf testers. I started bringing my own brushes and sometimes my own makeup to classes. The makeup is all sanitized but it does sometimes skeeve me out a little and you will be sharing with other people at your table. So if you have stuff you want to bring you can.

All of the brushes at the class given are deep-cleaned and everyone gets their own.

Nope! Everything is provided for, and you can choose one of the several different products and formulas your store offers. Make sure to arrive without any makeup on.

They're a lot of fun and very useful, I've been to a lot. Your store might have called you, mine called for the contour class tomorrow and said that they actually wanted us to arrive with foundation on, so that is new. I'm not sure how your Sephora might do it, its always changing, but you can call to ask.

@amdwash Just curious where you are located, by chance you might be in my class! I just signed up for the contour class being held tomorrow in Austin, TX. Since it was a late sign up, obviously no one called and I was wondering if I should be barefaced or not.

Unfortunately not, I'm up in Washington. But you should wear your foundation just to be safe! Worst case scenario they make you take it off. But have fun, the contour classes are always the most crowded, at least in my area. You'll be able to meet some new people and get to know some of the employees.

Hi there! I know this is an old thread, but I'm booked in for a contour & highlight class tomorrow. Did you in fact have to arrive with foundation on, or did they expect you to put it on during the class?
