Looking for lipstick tips for someone who is new to wearing lipstick

If your lips are exfoliated and hydrated it creates a nice canvas for the lip stick of your choice.

And practice. 

Play around on a day at home with lining with lip liner and application of your lip stick, get comfortable wearing it before your first it off the house test run.
