Asexual/Aromantic Question

I identify as an asexual/aromantic straight woman. Would I still be part of the  LGBTQIA community? I know there is some controversy on this subject and don't want to be disingenuous.

Re: Asexual/Aromantic Question

Re: Asexual/Aromantic Question

@Crazy4Sephora1  Everyone’s sexuality is their own.  You give yourself a label that makes YOU comfortable and don’t worry about how strangers interpret them for themselves.  If you don’t feel you belong clustered with the conventional male female attraction then you are someone in and/or around the rainbow.
People change their labels as they grow and discover different aspects of themselves or they find another label that they feel better fits them.  You can even decide not to label yourself and that’s perfectly valid.  The label is for yoj to self identify and not to explain yourself to others.
In the end, you are you the whole time and the label is just a sticker you wear.

as for the community aspect.  If you relate to a community and find common ground with them, you are part of that community.
