skin care for rosacea

Wondering on any product recommendations for rosacea and texture on the face? Ive tried everything from Clinique to Sunday Riley and nothing seems to solve the problem? Any tips/tricks/products?

I have redness and really fair skin, my skincare is extreme. However, one product that made a difference is Fresh Seaberry Oil. I won't go into my whole skincare because that's a matter of preference. The oil I notice reduced my redness and helped my dryness instantly.

Re: skin care for rosacea

Drunk Elephant's moisturizers are excellent, irritant free and has great formulas.

Re: skin care for rosacea

When I spoke with a couple of Sephora sales folks they said that Drunken Elephant is not recommended for those with Rosacea because Rosacea sufferers have extremely sensitive skin but Drunken Elephant ingredients has a few irritants that is mild for most but unlikely to be mild enough for Rosacea sufferers. But glad that you found success with it.

Re: skin care for rosacea

I also have rosacea and struggle with inflamed skin as well. I've finally got into a skincare routine that I'm happy with and seems to be helping - I use Josie Maran wipes to remove make-up and dry/flaky skin, REN EverCalm Cleansing Milk to wash my face, and REN EverCalm Global Protection Cream as my moisturizer. I love the REN EverCalm line - super moisturizing and calming.

Dr Jart Cicapair is amazing! I know it has a hefty price tag but it really works to cover rosacea on my cheeks. I've been using it for 6 months(almost every day) and I have yet to reach the bottom of the jar.. I use it after my moisturizer and before my primer. Skin looks perfected and smooth!

Re: skin care for rosacea

I would use the Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Soothing Moisture Cream

-Comfort Complex: This organic blend brings together enhanced levels of calendula, chamomile, echinacea, self heal, spilanthes, and marshmallow extracts to provide an effective defense against sensitized skin.
-Calendula Extract: Known for its bright yellow and orange flowers, it contains soothing properties and has been used to rebalance sensitivity on the skin.
-Evening Primrose, Macadamia, Rose Hip, and Avocado Oils: Rich in essential fatty acids to help provide optimum hydration and skin barrier protection benefits.

or

Dr. Jart Tiger Grass cream

Cicapairโ„ข Collection is inspired by the true legend of Asian Tigers, rolling in Centella Asiatica to heal their battle wounds. Also known as tiger grass, its medicinal use has been recognized for centuries. For generations, this active ingredient has also been recognized as a recovery system to help support wounded skin exhibiting inflammation, redness, or blemishes.

For Texture on your face can't recommend enough the Dr. Dennis Gross Peel pads. Pricy but definitely the best product in the store. You are going to want to start with the gentle strength and work your way up as your skin gets used to it.

Re: skin care for rosacea

For the rosacea part, I'd recommend starting with a gentle serum like First Aid Beauty Hydrating Serum, a gentle exfoliant (I started with Paula's Choice 2% BHA, but the Calm Line is really good for rosacea), a gentle moisturizer (Cerave, Drunk Elephant, there are loads to choose from), sticking to this for 6 weeks and seeing how you do. At that point you can decide if your routine needs tweaking and whether you can tolerate stronger products. @BellaB2000
